My favorite team too! I always use these three or Cid in replace of Tifa. This fight was a pain, but thd extra line Vincent says if you have him is quite cool. And I perfectly agree with him after what he did to him, Vincent, and Nanaki!

It's not necessary. I mostly use Tifa and Vincent in this battle, but in occasions I swap Vincent simply because I want. Use Vincent in your game if you want it so much.

For this fight, you should at least have two Ribbons and Added Effect + Hades available to you. This will allow you to avoid all status ailments for each of your three characters. Bahamut Zero + Neo Bahamut + Bahamut on your primary magic dealer; Double Cut on your Physical Attacker; Vincent with his Sniper CR (Hit% 255) using Deathblow + Added Cut. Should be pretty straight forward and easy battle. A lot of people love to use Tifa here, since she can take advantage of the Death Sentence applied via the Curse Ring, thanks to her weapons that quadruple her stats when she’s “near death”. 100% a fine choice, as you can place Hades + Added Effect on her armor to make up not having Ribbon equipped. So she can be in place of your physical attacker or swapped out in Vincent’s place. Totally up to you.

I just noticed that the "Trine" ability in the video is Magus from Chrono Trigger's "Dark Matter" tech 😮

This fight is potentially unbeatable if you dont have immunity against sleep and he manages to put all three characters to sleep. If the AI decides to just spam Combo, you gotta have to try again because he'll just reapply sleep every time, this is what happened to my cousin. You have 3 places to get this immunity BEFORE this fight and then there's still a catch: 1. In the snowy caves where there is the ribbon, 2 bought in Junon and finally 3 bought in Costa Del Sol. The first one is the easiest, but the catch is that the Seal Materia requires that you have the Added Effect Materia(so you can link them and place them on armor to get the immunity) which can be found in the Cave of the Gi and can ONLY be obtained there, so if you miss it and leave, it's lost forever.

😂 I also use Deathblow with Added Cut (I think that's the name?) on Tifa. Very nice 👍.

I bet in Part 3. Tifa, Barret, and Yuffie fight against Scarlet and Heidegger while Cloud, Red XIII, and Vincent along with the help of Seventh Infantry and Kunsel goes to the lab and face Hojo.

@DiegoRodriguez-dw7pv Sure but the game implies that you bring Barrett here, due to how he talks about it, he has more dialogue than Red and his ultimate weapon is in the chest here. It also implies you bring Vincent for storyline and him also having more dialogue. The “canon” team is Barret and Vincent. But can see why people bring Red. He doesn’t really acknowledge this scene though.

The true villain

In Remake part 3, what if the entire Shinra raid starts out like a warzone battlefield with Shinra until you get to Proud Clod, then the theme completely changes to horror genre and the closer we get to Hojo the scarier and more hideous the monsters get. Then Hojo himself is like an end boss Resident Evil style like monster in multiple phases. That would be creepy

Man i cant wait for the remake of this fight. And ima bring nanaki and vincent cuz of their grudge/imprisonment from hojo. And his 2nd form is nightmare fuel in OG FF7. Imagine in the remake... oh boy even more nightmare fuel

This is the battle I’m looking forward the most in the remake games VENGEANCE!! This man is the reason everything thing bad that happened to the party killed Aerith’s parents , created Sephiroth , sent him to mount Nibel just to see what would happen , which leads to cloud and tifa’s town burning down locked Vincent and gave him monster genes kidnapped and experimented on Red I hope they jump him and beat his @$$ down

Sephiroth could know hojo is his father, from the research books he read. That's one of reason he turned into jenova.
