This game is becoming my 2nd favorite Final Fantasy game.... The music... The storyline..... Trying to find meaning in life after disaster.. .. I legit cried at this part and kept petting Torgal... I laughed when I got the achievement for petting him a bunch of times.... God I needed this game right now.... To anyone who's in a rough spot and by chance reading this... Don't Ever Give Up..... There is always a reason to keep going...Shine on....

Apologies for the late response! But my favorite was a cross between Final Fantasy 7.... Breath of Fire 3.... Zelda OoT.... I know that's not just one answer but it's all a tie !

My favorites before this game were 7-9, in that order. 7 was my top, then 8, then 9. Currently (just finished my first runthrough) 16 is actually tied for first. We will see whether it stays or ends up trumping 7 eventually.

I know someone that lost their brother a few years ago. Young man. He beat this game and the ending had him bawling because of how much it hit home. It's so powerful.

Its unfortunate that Benna was killed off so soon & like you many wanted a redemption arc for her. However like life it often doesn't work that way. She hooked up with the wrong crowd & was too stubborn to realize and it cost her. I dont care what some have said that her character was wasted. We knew alot about her in such a short time and that is just good storytelling. Also Dion will become a character many will love. The guy is awesome & you are in for a treat with him. And yes rumors are true about him but its done tastefully.

A bit late to the party, but I wholeheartedly agree. A lot of people have expressed their sentiment about how Benna was a great character, but was 'wasted' because we didn't get more of her. As you said, that's mad props to the writing and characterization of her. That you can be so invested in so little time and still feel like you haven't managed to spend enough time with her. In terms of feeling wasted, I think of Renfri from the Witcher novel 'The Last Wish'. She was only ever in one chapter and she stuck in the brain-Geralt's and potentially the reader's. Like Renfri, Benna wasn't a wasted character by any means. She's the reality that even the most fascinating people cannot be redeemed just because we desperately want them to be. After all, look at Cid: he was the one lobbying the most for Benedikta's redemption and felt the greatest and most genuine loss when she died. You cannot help those who don't wish to be helped, especially if they think they weren't doing anything wrong in the first place. Doubly so if they think their cause is the just one. That's Benedikta Harman. How her life ended was a shame, but her writing and characterization was not

It makes sense that he is naked, even if none of the streamers I watched realize it. Cid took him back and didn't know what to expect of him, now that he knows he is Ifrit. Clive might go haywire. They took his weapon and armor so if something happens he will be without it. Being naked in the dungeon, chained is meant to lower his morale. So all of this is just big precaution on Cid's side.

Let's gooo! These types of videos are so good for playthroughs like this, will definitely be watching all the highlights after the streams :)

Ff16 is the first game I saw from the whole series, and I'm seeing it from this guy. Idk what the fk happened before this appart from Clive killing his bro bro.
