In this interview, Abbas Kiarostami reflected on why life itself inspired him more than anything else, his journey as a filmmaker and an artist, and the legacy he wanted to leave behind.
Abbas Kiarostami visited the IU Cinema in April 2014 for several public events and an onstage interview as part of the Jorgensen Guest Filmmaker Series.

And I believe that is the goal of his films. As one character says in "Life and Nothing More": "Art is supposed to rejuvenate people, not to make us decrepit". Truly inspiring filmmaker and artist.

one of the best in history of film and cinema without any questions. its so very very sad he is so underrated and not that well known. i really love him. im sending him much love and support and respect from munich/germany.
