Ғылым және технология
Super excited to check out Final Cut Pro on the iPad. As someone who has been editing for over 18 years on Final Cut, it was so fun and refreshing to use it in an all new way!

What a pro, Justine whizzes through it like it's already second nature for her. She doesn't get enough credit as a skilled video editor.

Seriously. She went through it so quickly and provided what I needed for what I’m doing. Thanks Justine.

When using a large iPad, it's not advisable to work with those wheels. I believe an iPad Mini would provide a more enjoyable experience.

Definitely had the same initial frustration but love how you’re looking at it as a touch first approach. That makes so much sense.
i barely JUST got comfortable with computer editing, but lemme try it now 😩

She can do this just in time because she is JUSTine 😂
If you're watching this video, well you need to know that it is one of the most difficult videos a creator can ever make. In this video, Justine posted a well-edited video of herself exhibiting fantastic video editing skills on-the-go. Thanks for all the effort, Justine.
There could definitely be more content about you giving video editing advice. Or just you editing and commenting on the process. Thanks, Justine! And thanks Apple for bringing Final Cut Pro to iPad, especially with the low barrier in comparison to the Mac version. Should definitely get a lot more people to try out video editing!
This was awesome I learn something new all the time from your videos ❤ thank you ijustine
wow this look incredible! i love how they reimagined it for touch! excited to try it out
You explained this very well and made it look easy to edit with FCP for iPad.
This is Amazing! I really love and enjoy reviews on tech 😄
This video inspired me to download Final Cut Pro for my iPad. It’s actually quite intuitive. Thank you so much for the great demo.
This is why you don't just get info from only one side or one reviewer. I saw the Verge's review of this, and afterward, though very informative and fair, I wasn't even sure if I wanted to invest in this. After watching this video, I'm excited again. It's always good to get reviews covering the entirety of something, The bad, the ugly, the fair, AND the good. Thank you iJustine for providing perspective and the good😃

@@marquesty1914 all day. This reminds me of Adobe Fresco a lot. How when it first started, it was getting similar criticism. Fast forward two years, now everyone seems to be moving from procreate to fresco because of how specialized it is, including myself, lol.
Hi Justine! Your videos are so cool and your literally my entire childhood im watching your videos from 2018 and i love them so much! Keep up! ❤
This looks awesome Justine! Thanks for sharing!!
Looks really comfortably simple. Can’t wait to use it
This was very good. Perfect for getting a Final Cut Pro beginner started. Thanks!
This is incredible ,it feels...looks... like you're sculpting a video rather than of ''programming'' it , im going to get addicted to this way of editing. It will be to odd going back to desktop or laptop where everything is mouse and keyboard. And you are correct about the External HD support, this could be a deal breaker until they sort that out!
Thanks for a great review! Can't wait to try it out too... Finally, the iPad Pro is becoming the pro device we all wanted years ago... :) I think this year is going to be exciting for the iPad... and this is only the start :) And my feeling is since FCP is a subscription too, we will see more updates to the app too (over time).
You make everything look so easy!!
Looks good, and can't wait to try it out. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video Justine! This is so cool!!!!
Thanks for the nice review. I really like how Apple integrated final cut into the iPad ecosystem. I am actually a davinci user and it's nice to see more editing programs on iPad. I have to say that I like resolve on iPad more, as they provide more features than final cut. On the other hand It's clear that final cut has an easier and a well-thought user interface.
Your video helped me decide to go with Final Cut Pro for iPad. Thanks!
wooww fast update 🎉🎉 thanks justine for your sharing ❤
Great Review! Loved watching you create a video of yourself!
Finally!! Been asking for this for a decade!
Hi Justine! Can’t wait to try Final Cut!
Great editing video! I'm learning to edit videos and it's really cool to spend some time watching those videos.
Very nice! The iPad editing space is finally getting super competitive.
I love watching you edit!
Was super excited to try this .. and after playing with it for an hour, felt that the guys at Lumafusion did pretty good job in comparison. I have been editing all my KZread videos on Lumafusion and all of these features are present on that app as well.
Thanks for the quick tutorial ❤❤❤
really looking forward to using this a lil
Fantastic video. Great job of explaining everything, I’m sold. I’m going to switch to IPad Pro for Final Cut.
It feels like final cut pro has been integrated into @ijustine brain and her fingers just flow through this canvas..! Hats off..!
Thank you for another great video!!
i think it was a great video, iJ. suoer well explained, in my opinion
Excellent tutorial, thanks for this.
The last video I watched from iJustine was 5 years ago. I almost forgot about her. Nice to see her around.
This looks so cool i wish i had more stuff to record during my day so i can actually try this out
This was basically a super fast tutorial. Thank you !
I’m excited to learn and use it now since I can use it on my iPad .
Thanks Justine for the tutorial
I started editing all my podcasts on an iPad with GarageBand and the Apple Pencil and it's a total game changer.
Amazing. Finally, some more PC-like touch for the iPads.
Wow!! More reasons for me to learn video editing!!
Thanks for the tour. I use FCP on my iMac but have an iPad Pro that I’d love to utilize more.

dope 🔥 amazing editing skiils Justine 😎 Feel like is suitable for a easy and quick editing, while traveling for example 😃
Excellent introduction video! I do want to point out that you started out like we were all beginners… But by the end, you were doing things very quickly, and iI was only able to catch what you were doing. It is obvious, however, that you became quite the pro at it!
Love it! Just hope they add External drive support 😫
Nice video, great video and awesome explanation. Keep up the good work, the app is sure different from the Mac version but least I know both since I use to edit off LumaFusion before going to FCP on Mac. But this was a nice detailed video. God Bless
Ijustine is the best tech KZreadr ❤️🤗
You are a rock star - love this and your videos! I am a professional editor (tv commercials / sizzles / shows) and have been cutting for over 25 years - working in TV for Oprah and advertising. I built my business, Phase6 Productions, on FCP in 2016. Apple is clearly targeting this new Final Cut 'Pro' for iPad to creators and not industry editors anymore. Super sad about this and will officially be moving my entire business to DaVinci now. Sad to say goodbye since I have been waiting for YEARS for an iPad version and this is not even CLOSE to what Final Cut for Mac can do. This is either iMovie Pro, or Final Cut. They might have taken 'Pro' off of the name for iPad for clarification. I'm glad they have a huge market of creators to use the app which seems solid for the amazing things you do. I am a fan - love your videos and thank you for this incredible explanation and all you do!
You’re a pro already! Great breakdown, and I ❤ that you talked about having to unlearn Mac-based FCP editing. During my livestream demo today I kept trying to use it like it’s a Mac (with the Magic Keyboard) and it’s designed primarily for editing while holding the iPad. Once that clicked, the friction melted away. Thanks for making this vid! 🔪🥦🧲🎞️
Beautiful ❤
Super well done you look really nice .
Nice video iJ!
Thank you!
Still amazing to me how much is possible from the mobile tech now. Just picked up the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 12.9 iPad Pro. I really want to try this and see how it compares to my Devinchi Resolve desktop setup.
That. Is. Insane. Great video.
That’s really slick, very cool.
How’s the battery ? Does it get warm the iPad ? Awesome video Justine ❤
As a long time FCP user this is going to be fantastic! It's going to be the new way of doing rough cuts ... maybe even doing ALL editing one day. However, I can't even jump in till two things happen. 1) It is a requirement that you can edit off an external SSD or more likely a SD or Micro SD card hanging off the iPad with a short dongle. Or even better if the iPad Pro was actually a "Pro" device and had a SD slot on it. 2) FCP projects need to be universal. An editor NEEDS to be able to go back and forth between iPad and Mac ... not just one way. Extra credit for ... 3) the iPad Pro having the front facing camera on the side like the iPad Air so you can actually do talking heads easily and with proper sight lines. and 4) Take some of this great design simplicity and bring it back to the Mac version. Thanks Justin ... great video!
im in love it
Looks like the app was custom made for you! Refresing to watch a review based on what a product CAN do as opposed to what it can't, or what it is not.
Your videos are the best
Thank you for sharing, by the way you look amazing and I think I will be learning a lot from you.
Justine you are the best
I was looking for keyframes but didn't see the option. Did anyone see if it has the option?
we would love a masterclass for editing from you iJustine. Guys like this if you agree
Apple's off to a great start. Look forward to further iterations!
u make it look so easy
Gawd u are sooo brilliant and also beautiful ❤
You make it look so simple
So how is it different from using a laptop than a iPad? if you wanted to download Final Cut Pro on your laptop, do you do the similar thing except just use the mouse? Also which kind of laptop is good to buy if you don’t have a lot of money? Thx 😊
For professional editor this is something that they may have like a little plus, but for influencers that go around the world and do staff it’s preatty cool. Apple did a great job with the hand adaptation
What about bringing music and from places like epidemic sound?
Awesome review Justine, what’s the pink doo doo thing connected to you iPad, please? xx
It seems that Apple Pencil is only used for drawing doodles. The rest are more comfortable using hands, mouse and keyboard. I have an idea what if the Apple Pencil can edit with the Scribble feature. For example, the timeline cross out gesture can cut or delete or double click the apple pen to zoom out or zoom in.
The thumbs kind of sells me here. I'm not interested in an iPad port. The fact that it's being designed for the iPad with some of its own intuitive controls. Awesome. Great vid. Thanks!
I love that Final Cut Pro on iPad
do you think that working off of an external drive is a limitation of the software that could be fixed through an update, or a limitation of the iPad pro itself?
Hey sis, does it have green screen keyer? Thank you.
Great review I’m going to be downloading it later today. The only thing I really want to do is save my Project as an alpha channel. I’m pretty certain you can’t do that at the moment can you? Keep up your amazing videos really helpful.🙂
Finally!
Looked great for a couple minute video. Assuming I have the storage available on the iPad, how large of a video could you edit? I record my son’s baseball games (2 hours = 56GB) with GoPro, then edit out all but the last pitch of each at bat, and export out as .mp4 (10 minutes < 2 GB).
Two things: How do I stop the transition warning about shortening the clips when adding a transition. When playing back can the timeline move with the video position? The play head just scrolls off the screen. I guess I’m used to LumaFusion. 😊
what would you say is the most cost effective setup for a creator in the apple ecosystem?
Wait so If you take a video on another device other than apple, or on a digital camera, how do you transfer the files over to the ipad/final cut pro? Also it would be cool to see a video on more technical features! Like slow motion or other high quality editing. Thanks for the video, very useful.
Nice min tut.
I have LUMAFUSION on my Ipad Do you think that Final Cut is better? is it worth updating?
Which mic u used in this video? Sounds great!
Is this better/easier than DaVinci Resolve on the Mac? Need a new device but dunno if should get another MacBook Air or move to the iPad Pro ….
Hi Justine, are you using an ipad pro 12.9 or 11 i want to start editing videos on a ipad but not sure which ipad to choose? please advise, thank you.
My Mac battery is literally crap, and I use my computer for school and editing. Would you suggest me to trade in and get a pro for the editing and school?
I love editing stuff on my iPad
Very much beautiful laptop 💻
Beauty full
I cant find this app on my i pad M1 in app store , i am from India , what should i do now?
when you make tutorials like this, its really great.maybe make a full tutorial on FCP on ipad.
