The fact they called all of them services should tell you how much C4 acutally cares and makes me think they aren't long for this world if they treat something like The Box like it's "a service". Are all the C4 channels just services now? Sure the people working on programing are going to love ensuring they are just content for a service no different than a streaming service.

WOW, even N'Sync was prepared for the closure!

It outlived the US counterpart by roughly 23 years. RIP.

Definitely Goodbye by The Spice Girls is the final music video to be shown on The Box on the 30th of June 2024.

While I may not have seen the Box at all in my life, as it discontinued in the US back in 2001 and I wasn't born until eight years later, I do have three VHS tapes with the Box on it. RIP

This was especially fitting as they heavily promoted Wannabe and helped kick off Spice Mania back in the day

Just like former Box Upfront (BoXmas) that use to play two last song before it moving to The Box way back on 2020 But now this year

The Box Plus Networks aren’t the only channels that closed on June 30th. Shopping channel “Seen on TV” closed down after just 2 weeks.

I think they used Spice Girls Goodbye for BoxMAS as well.

I don’t have much memories of BOX, But I remember when 4Music Had Crashed, BOX Or BOX Hits Would Be shown instead. FR I liked it.

This and the Disney TV closures in Southeast Asia way back in 2021/2023 are literally the only channel closures that have genuinely made me sad. So much history on both sides, gone in a switch because of the decline of TV…

yeah... I'm still mad about the fact that Disney NEVER launched Disney+ in my country despite all of their channels (including Disney Channel, my childhood) have been shutdown... Anyway, thanks The Box and 4Music for all of the wonderful years...

@@WatchandRewin Ah right I see. The way its going I feel there won't be many Satellite channels left in the UK. Rumours of Paramount cutting some MTV, Nick & Comedy Central channels are on going so they can get more subs to Paramount Plus.
