Link is such a badass, man. That epic jumping stab at the end, Ganondorf's last words, the parts where you have to push Ganondorf back with your sword, all while Zelda watches from afar... I'll never forget this fight.

You don't have touse the 'chance' mechanic where you lock blades with Ganondorf at all. It's something you _can_ do, but you don't have to. Ganondorf is basically a boss version of a Darknut once you've removed its armor. Especially if you compare him to the one you fight in the Temple of TIme, the only one in the game that blocks you if you try to hit it a fourth time in a row; the hit that would deal more damage. Ganondorf is that but with an even more solid defense. I've come to see the 'chance' mechanic as a cheap way to end the fight, since a full sword combo does _a lot_ more damage to him then the one or two attacks you can get him with at a time otherwise. I usually fight him with the Back Slice, but I even fought him without the 'chance' mechanic in a playthrough where I didn't get any hidden skills (besides the mandatory Ending Blow, of course)

​@@devonm042690youre thinking too far into it. The chance section is the best pwrt of the fight, not for the difficulty but the look and cinemetography of it.

@Thomas Kincaid if only the Ganon bosses themselves were as intense as the music since seriously after 4 Swords Adventures Ganon battles have been pathetically easy and Ocarina of Time actually started the trend unfortunately hopefully the trend ends in BotW2.

Indeed even after you watching seven deadly sins legend of zelda still has the badass moments. 🤣

The moment when the blades cross and the men erupt, "...ohhhhhhh YES!" Exactly the thought we all have. And before anyone corrects me that this is sung in Latin, you can't say it doesn't sound like that.

WOW!! That opening is amazing!! So badass! I love how you fit it with the music so right as the music starts getting really powerful and they yell, OOOOH YES!! Link and Ganondorf's sword clash together and then you see them fighting right before the cool still image slides in!! So cool!!

@@Wizardof52 yeah but still I think Ganondorf is a victim of circumstance and that circumstance put him down a dark path. Besides some of the greatest villains have a tragic backstory and Ganondorf is a perfect example of just how a child can be influenced to become a psychopath or just wicked in general.

@@chadpeterson5698 Yeah I know, I've seen his backstory, in truth, he is just a person who wanted to keep Gerudo safe and he never knew about a place outside Gerudo until he grew up and learned that Hyrule banished Gerudo people from going anywhere due to their past deeds, so he lead a life of stealing and went down that evil path. Demise took advantage of his hatred for Hyrule.

@@Wizardof52 imagine if someone who understands the Zelda franchise made a TV series about it and showed more of Ganondorf's past and his motives as to why he is how he is then people can really see that he's more than just a villain who needs to be taken down.

I have a theory that BOTW 2 is called either The Legend Of Zelda The hand Of Farore because the hand is green and green represents courage and Farore is the Goddess of courage and that hand that’s keeping Ganon sealed could be the hand of Farore or The title would be The Legend Of Zelda destiny of the golden goddesses

If they ever make a Zelda movie they should use this for the final seen picture this the world is in ruins Gannon is about to make his wish to take control of Hyrule when Link shows up and he on about how Link failed as the chosen hero Link has heard enough at this point he draws his sword and Gannon does as well then the music starts as they fight

Windwaker Link, Twilight princess Link and Skyward sword Links last bit of gameplay is using the same ending blow on Ganondorf and Demise (although Windwaker Ganondorf had the sword go through his skull)

@@chadpeterson5698 I was talking about twilight princess though. Breath of the wild bosses have their own brand of disappointment, on account of thunder blight being the only remotely challenging boss among the 4, with the map bosses being mute challenging than the other 3 blight. I was just saying that twilight princess had good dungeon difficulty but overall the boss difficulty downgraded compared to wind waker, for instance.

@@OsnosisBones I know I'm referring to the fact that in 3D Zelda games that a majority of the time the bosses are so easy even the final bosses and that's the boss that should be the hardest or AT LEAST moderately hard and I'm hoping that BotW2 fixes that with some more challenging boss fights ESPECIALLY the final boss

It's a pity...the music in this battle (both the original and this remix) is so intense and Ganondorf looks so badass, but it was far too easy of a fight. Kind of a theme in TP, to be honest.

The Zelda franchise needs a major overhaul in difficulty. It needs to be WAY more difficult. BotW did a little to make it more survival oriented, but, that's not really difficult. Zelda needs a dose of Dark Souls. Not a small dose either. A big boy dose. Nameless King/Sister Friede sized dose.
