You missed the men in that group and that is why they lost. They relied on one voice whereas All The Kings Men used more than one singer for the battle, and given the nature of the competition that is what swung it in their favour.

The high pitch dude sounded bad.

I think that was the deciding factor in this because as one of the judges said "It's really hard". When you get to this stage of deciding between two talented choirs then it is nit picking that is what will make the difference between who stays and who goes home where the majority decision of the panel is concerned.

Never heard of Bebe Rexha till this show and wow I'm in love haha.. She chose the wrong group though! The guy who sang falsetto omg get him some water!! Lol

To all the ones saying "the girls should have won" I suggest you look at the back row of that choir, as you obviously aren't paying attention. Unless I am mistaken three happen to be 6 men almost 50% of the group as there are 8 women, someone better at maths than I can give the correct percentage if they are bored and want to. Also the competition is about best utalising the vocal ranges of the group and relying on one voice as the main vocals puts them at a disadvantage. They had 14 voices to mix it up with compared to ATKM who only had 9.

They are all British Christina. You may be thinking of the stereotypical "British" accent which most of us do not sound like, Just as with the US accents are varied in the UK. They can differ in a few miles of each other, for example the accent changes on the Wirral (look it up on google maps to see just how small it is) from being closer to Scouse on the eastern side to closer to the northern Welsh accent on the western side.

It's a segment called PITCH BATTLE. The best singers know that hitting the correct notes (which isn't as easy as you say) and having actual technique is better and will always out perform a singer with a bunch of feeling and personality.

Yes I read the title, thank you. I merely pointing out that excercises such as this turn singing into a clinical point scoring game of one-upmanship, which has nothing to do with being a good musician. Yes, having perfect pitch and good technique are desirable but if you think that's all there is to being a good singer then you clearly know nothing about singing or about music. X-factor and the like has churned out hundreds of people who can hit all the notes perfectly, but where are they all now? Why aren't they all doing sell-out world tours and "out-performing" their rivals like you seem to think they should be?

1. I actually disagree. Too many singers are incredibly successful without *actually* knowing how to sing properly (ie: Selena Gomez, Rihanna, etc) while singers who are adept in the art of singing aren't commercially successful. The general public has this confused notion that being able to sing super high or having a powerful/heavy voice means you're a good singer. They think if something sounds *good*, then the singer is good. This discredits all the singers that train to develop good technique. So exercises such as this are actually needed to show that there's an art to singing behind all of the emotion, promotion, and other things that make non-technical singers successful. I'm not saying each singer needs perfect technique, but having some knowledge of vocal technique, should be the main priority. 2. The X-Factor has not churned out hundreds of people who can "hit all the notes perfectly". That's just...not true. Just because you have a good timbre or you *sound good* singing a song, doesn't mean you have good technique or are a good singer. The X-Factor and other singing shows have churned out bands like Little Mix, 5H, 1D, Leona Lewis, Jhud as well as other artists. 3. Singing with technical skill isn't going to automatically ensure that you can outperform and outsell your competition. For example, Tori Kelly can blow out Selena Gomez vocally, but Selena out-sells her. Song topics, fan-bases, previous acts, promotions, labels, features, and many other things all influence how well an artist sells and ultimately how successful they are.

Blackheaven I am going to have to admit to being as bright as a black hole and twice as dense as I am not getting you. Completely my fault as I am not good at understanding subtle hints. Either way I don't want to cause the quadruple red cheek syndrome to myself or your brother. However as you are syblings I have provided you with extra ammunition to wind your brother up, so I maybe too late on that front. From what I understand the more ammunition between syblings for leg pulling the better. :-D Even though I think the winners were chosen correctly I liked the choir/singers your brother is in were bloody good, they should be proud of themselves. I hope they have a final epside where those who didn't make it in their own show get a second chance to make it to the final.

Before this show I was unfamiliar with Rexha. Her "reactions" were as genuine as her hair. It's disappointing that the selection of a winner is so arbitrary and last minute. Sorry, but the falsetto singer for the winning group sounds like a whistling tea kettle and they too often put forward baritones as soloists whose voices lacked power.

That's how talent shows work. Look at OOB, they have a massive online following, and have been going for years, but were voted out in the early stages of the show. Also what you are seeing is an edit made by the producers. We are not seeing it in the whole.
