We have other people telling us he went too low. The 1QB community has no consensus on QBs.

I had the 1.5 traded it for Kyle Pitts and 2.2 and grabbed Ladd with that pick. I think I won that trade

The bowers take is crazy. Way too good of a prospect taken 13th overall. It's a new NFL that just showed us how valuable a "tight end" can be with Sam Laporta. That guys going insanely high in startups. Bowers ceiling in his range of outcomes is even higher than Laporta. Bowers will go down as your guys biggest miss of your entire channels history. Way over thinking the positional designation in the modern NFL.

A ton of good players in this class, there will be great players pushed down boards across all positions. Go back and look at consensus rookie ADP in 2023, we should be more open when hearing other peoples opinions. Every year people are so confident in their own opinions, come to our channel with an open mind, that’s all we ask :)

Oh for sure. I think ladd, brooks, btj, worthy are all great players. But bowers has a chance of being the best TE of all time based off what he's done to this point. One of the best college skill position prospects we've ever seen. Anyone that passes on him after Marv, malik, and Rome are off the board are just WAY overthinking the positional aspect. Not trying to be a hater, I just honestly think this will end up being your guys biggest miss you've ever had. By a long shot. But of course in time we will see if I'm right.

Time will tell my man! We did mention in the video that the context of your league is everything when it comes to where Bowers should come off the board. Premium, starting lineup, etc all matter so much. I’d encourage everyone to think back about how confident they were in Kyle Pitts in 1QB formats at the time of him coming out of college. This class is stacked, there are great players everywhere. Bowers is going to be a fantastic player but if Bowers, Ladd, BTJr, Worthy all broke out and reached their peaks, we know that WRs will go higher in startups (again depending on premium & rosters). Great convo, we don’t care if we are wrong in the end, we just don’t want to do something because it’s consensus 🙏🏼

4 one QB dyansty drafts so far. Bowers 1.03 or 1.04 in all 4. I did snag Odunze at 1.05 in one draft. Stunned he was there.

Had the 1, 2, 3 and 10th pick, got MHJ, Nabers & odunze with the first 3 picks. BTJ slipped to 10 😮‍💨

Hard to argue with that draft BUT since u had already gotten WRs with the top2 picks, I’d have tried to trade back from the 3rd pick to grab Bowers, or even Brooks Great job getting those picks though That’s how u rebuild in a hurry

If i were you, I’d rather trade for Burton. Even when Aiyuk or Deebo get moved, Pearsall will still be behind the other in touches. Sure, he’ll be the #2 WR, but don’t forget how heavily McCaffrey & Kittle doctor into the passing game in SF Compare that to Burton, who doesn’t have a top RB & TE in Cinci to compete for targets with Heck, I’d even take Troy Franklin over Pearsall bc he’s gonna be the Wr1 in Denver with his college Qb throwing to him I’d admit, that’s a little bit of a reach, but not all that much And Burton, and especially Franklin, will be cheaper to trade for than Pearsall - all while having better situations to become fantasy relevant in a meaningful way

Great mock! I think this is one of the first I've seen that are really evaluating each landing spot and not just going off post-draft reactions. Burton, Franklin, Roman Wilson and Lloyd were all mocked in the 3rd round but seeing them now firmly in the 2nd is what I was expecting all along. Burton has been my favorite sleeper, but I think come training camp he'll be up a few spots more in the early 2nd. Round 3 AD Mitchell is spicey, but Pittman is going to be the 1st option, Downs is still a great route runner and I think AD takes the WR3 role as a field stretcher. Not that he can't develop into a WR2, but I think people are too quick to dismiss what Downs had done in 2023. TBH the talent in the 3rd round is still pretty intriguing. Love Javon Baker, I think he'll be the real breakout in New England. Ben Sinnott is being buried behind the shining of Bowers, but he has a clear bath to being TE1 in that offense. Estime looks like RB2 in Denver already and Javonte hasn't quite delivered on his role as RB1.

Agree with pretty much all of this BUT Javonte is gonna break out this year now that he’s healthy He’ll get over 1,000yds on the ground, plus catch at least 50 passes in that offense with (mostly) unproven WR talent, or guys like Sutton who just aren’t good Nix will be dumping the ball off a lot Like, a lot, a lot Lol

Interesting to see Pearsall over Coleman, even with the expectation that one of Deebo/Aiyuk will be moved.

I’m a Bills fan, so i should be biased towards Coleman. Although he does have a much better situation, I’m with these guys. It’s rare for a WR who doesn’t produce in college to come in & produce in the NFL He’s a lot more likely to be DeVantae Parker than he is Brandon Marshall Unfortunately for my Bills, i think he’s a swing & a miss

Took Corley immediately from the Waivers after our 10 Team, 1QB, 3 Round Rookie Draft since I saw him sliding and nobody taking him 😄

Hollywood is a much better NFL receiver than Xavier at this point, so I don't see Worthy going over him to become #1 but I definitely see a path for him to be option 3 behind Kelce in his rookie year. He could take a lot of that Rice work since Texas used him that way in his Jr year. When rice is back I think he's more of a 3 catches 86 yards and a TD stat line. After his rookie season when Brown walks it's wheels up!

I have a history of terrible 1st round picks over the last 3 seasons in my 16 team 1 QB IDP league. Javonte, Lance, Bateman, Palmer, then Burks, Skyy, David "freakin" Bell, and finally Charbonnet and Addison. This year I decided to avoid the "more is better by trading back", and traded my 1.06, 1.11 and 2.15 for the 1.03. I'm missing out at maybe a couple of McConkey, Worthy, BTJ, Bowers, Pearsall, Coleman, or an RB or 2, but I'm guaranteed Odunze or Nabers. Am I doing this right, or am I waaaay off? Love your guys stuff 👌

My draft haul: Trade 1.06 for 1.09 and 2.07, land Williams at the 1.09. Trade 2.07 and 3.06 for 2.01, land Benson. Trade 2.06 for 2.10 and 3.10, land Wilson at the 2.10, then close out with Javon Baker at the 3.10. 1QB Standard League, no TE Premium and I'm a new team starting the draft with a blank roster. Good draft?

I think an asset like Malik Nabers in a 1QB league is very rare to find, in your situation I would keep the pick unless they really offer something that would change the situation of your team, otherwise I would keep the better asset and hope to find value with your other picks

Maye 4.03 - Javon Baker I had a strong WR core on my team (Chase, Puka, JSN, Ridley) already on the team, RB and TE was a need. 1QB League. (Have Mahomes & Cousins) Thoughts on that draft?

drafting for need tends to be a mistake. Value over fit all day. You can always recoup value by trading for need. Just better hope your 'need' picks dont become less value over time. I know any draft prospect can bust, but its best to draft best available and figure out need later to extract most value from trades.

I think thats a fine draft. Honesty, you couldve taken brooks at 1.03 and bowers at 1.06 and the value would make the most sense there. But you still got both of them with 1.03 and 1.06 lol. If Penix is on the waiver wire that could be a good handcuff for Cousins, next year.

@@vs6536 Yeah, I have the 2nd, 4th, 7th, and 12th of this draft. If Odunze magically dropped to 4th I would be ecstatic. I personally think Odunze is the better reciever than Nabers. Nabers will probably get the fantasy targets and he is younger, though. But, if Odunze gets picked 3rd I I would take Brooks. I just think the difference of those picks won't matter a whole lot to the dynasty community on draft days.

I think u had a GREAT draft, especially considering your team needs- which DOES MATTER Bowers is close enough to Odunze that u can do that & Brooks at 1.06 is good value as well Nice job imo (For whatever that’s worth)

Took jalynn Polk at 2.03 in 1qb 12 team ppr. Thoughts ? Coleman and Legette went 2.01 and 2.2, so he seemed like the best option. Think he’s got wr2 appeal in dynasty and maybe 1 if maye starts really cooking

i had 9 picks in 1qb 14 teamer non te premium ppr. ended up with marv nabors and brooks in the first and pearsal legette and corum in the 2nd.. they allowed almost all of the qbs to drop to the end of the 3rd and got maye and nix as well. i have burrow carr oconnnell maye and nix. ill wait until the year starts and shop the qbs.

How big are your rosters? Having all those QBs in a 1 Qb league is a waste U aren’t gonna get much via trade for most of them

guys honest opinion: 1qb ppr league/8 teams i have the 1.02 and 1.03 in my team right now im playing 4 wrs: Higgins, waddle, Drake London, Devonta Smith. I also have Sutton, Ridley, pickens, Mike Williams and Tank Dell i think im drafting Nabers and Bowers. i could draft odunze and trade some wrs to get a top TE (im kinda TE needy, i have Njoku and Freiermuth and im trying to make a title run this year). with the 1.03 what do you think, Bowers or odunze?

How would your outlook change on bowers in a non-TE premium. I’m in a one QB league. 2 flex spots. I have the 1.06 and 1.07 and considering bowers if he falls to me. Kyle pitts is my current TE

Made a crazy play for the 1.01. Traded Tlaw, George Pickens, Noah fant and a 25 random 1st for the 1.01 Zach charbz and a 25 2nd. I have the 1.01, 1.07 and the 2.02. Looking to get Marvin, Brian Thomas and Keon Coleman if he falls to the 2.02. 10 man ppr. I gave up a lot but I feel Marvin will be worth it. I have stroud so Tlaw wasn’t my starter. Just got value for him

Good job Hope u stayed away from Coleman though (and I’m a Bills fan) He’ll be cheaper to trade for at this time next year Kincaid is our top pass catcher right now & we drafted Davis (rb) bc we are gonna use Cooks more in the passing game Coleman’s rookie year stat line will likely look something like : 50-700yds-6td Maybe a few more td? I expect the red zone is where he’ll get significant usage as a rookie Just wait till his owner get frustrated & trade for him If he’s ever gonna get “good” *for fantasy* it’s gonna be in a year or 2 He needs developing still

Maybe I’m playing devils advocate here , but remember in San Francisco, on a stacked receiver room … we still have Ronnie bell… and the chargers drafted Cornelius Johnson one of harbahs guys…he has a lack of tds, and total yards but his reception total is right in with Roman Wilson.. just someone to keep an eye on.. cuz like you said that charger situation is wide open

I have 1.06... I have no clue what falls to me... I prefer Brooks or Benson, but if Bowers falls, I don't know. Corum was my RB3, now I have him as "not draftable".

Brock Bowers ADP is 1.03 in TE Premium 1 QB leagues. 500+ FFPC 1 QB drafts started yesterday. You have to have Bowers in the top 4 there is a massive tier break from 4 to 5 in these drafts. Thomas ADP 1.06

In most leagues, I feel like Bowers will be drafted by need if he goes in the top 6 in 1QB, after that he will be drafted for value.

Harrison Nabers Rome Brooks Bowers Caleb Williams Brian TJr If Benson goes 8 or 9 I’ll get Worthy or Ladd. The person who has 1.04 and 1.07 is going Brooks and Brian TJr. The order doesn’t really matter.

sincerely hope Mitchell's value remains suppressed so I can grab him in the 2nd, which is the plan. Irving is a sleeper worth stashing. Regarding McCaffrey - one of the themes & mantras I've learned over playing fantasy football for 35 years (no, I'm not a boomer - GenX) is to believe what the NFL teams think about players. If the NFL teams believe in a player, you should too - especially with mid-rounders - it often works out. Just bc the so-called "experts" and talking heads disagree with a pick, doesn't mean they're right - they're usually not. Surprise mid-rounders are worth rolling the dice on, is what I'm saying.

Nope, and I’m a Longhorns fan who likes Mitchell. The problem is that he’s basically got Mike Vick as his Qb. Richardson isn’t even gonna be able to support Pittman at a high level, Let Alone Mitchell as well. Indi is also gonna stay a run first team Unfortunately for fantasy, he fell into a horrible spot. I recommend staying away from him You’ll be able to trade for Mitchell for much cheaper than u have to draft him for Just give the guy who drafts him time to get frustrated with his crappy situation

I just don’t think you need a premium to draft Bowers high. You can’t say, “let’s be patient with Odunze because he’s got the talent, but he’s got target competition”, and then say, “I don’t like Bowers’ situation, and even though he’s a generational type of talent, I can’t do it unless I get a full extra point premium on his catches.” Like, what are we doing?! Did we forget that he was the number 1 option at Georgia regardless who was on the field with him? Did we forget he was drafted ahead of BTJ? And I love Ladd, and his situation is phenomenal. But you can ignore that Bowers was still the guy at Georgia over McConkey. I did comment in a prior video that Bowers could easily be the guy in Las Vegas, in 2025. And it’s more likely than not just from looking at the draft capital they put into Bowers. Rant over lol

Genuinely don’t understand what you mean. We aren’t trying to assign anyone credit for anything? Trying to help you understand that you are trying to say we are contradicting ourselves even tho the quotes you are using are from 2 different people with different rankings/POV. 1) Zach 2) Badake 2 different people, not the same person you are quoting.

I hear you man but you gotta understand that it’s 2 different people making cases for their rankings/opinions in this video. Zach is higher on Brock & he took Odunze at the 1.03. Badake is lower on Brock and let him fall. We can respect your take no doubt but just understand that each pick isn’t being taken by the same person with the same POV 🙏🏼

He’s gonna get a TON of touches moving forward & new coaching will get that offense going Plus, Brooks is a v.good pass catcher (& pass blocker), so when Carolina is down he’ll be in the game getting a lot of dump offs For FANTASY PURPOSES, it’s a great landing spot
