I think these factors ALL added up, but the spell was the “breaking point.” Everything Twilight did with her friends proved that they were stronger together, and as Celestia said in the song, it was pretty much her destiny. It wasn’t just the spell, it was also all of the adventures along the way. (Note, the spell probably could’ve… not ended well if it weren’t for Twilight fixing it and adding the last part, which not even a powerful, knowledgeable wizard could figure out.)

Not to mention the fact that she milked all those cows means she had not just strength but also the control to pull on individual udders while keeping them above the water tank, and she was able to do it delicately while also using incredible strength. If she was using even a tenth of the strength she was using to lift the Ursa Minor or the water tank to pull an udder it’d rip off, the level of precision she needed to use to properly milk those cows is almost more impressive than the raw strength, the fact she can do both simultaneously is crazy especially since they’re so different, it’s like trying to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time.

Except there's no strain on her meaning it's probably more of a unique skill than something that takes effort. Though I do agree, the alicorns SHOULD be stronger than Twilight, but all we got from them is bridge movement and losing to Chrysalis multiple times.

I was always confused as a kid cuz twilight would do this type of stuff and then struggle to other stuff like turning an apple into an orange or something. Maybe floating stuff is easier, but Rarity struggles to float heavier objects so idkk

Rarity only lifts fabric and treads all day long(mostly light objects as a whole), it does make sense to me she struggles with lifting a boulder and she has never been in that magic school for unicorns like Twilight. Of course inconsistent happens way too many times in this show

Rarity 's talent is making things prettier pretty much, not stuff like this, although still doing that isn't as easy as some would assume as it took takes self control to do just like in real life with sewing. It takes practice, something Rarity didn't do with heavy objects that are heavier than her cat or a box of materials

Her special talent is quite literally magic so wuite literally no one else without that special talent could do this wich makes it that much more insane.

I will not deny that Twilight had a shitton of power in her reserves and immense potential however we overlook the fact that she nearly gave out from the strain of doing all that on the Ursa Minor. So in fact she was busted from the start yes but didn't quite get the capacity to use that power effectively until much later, long after the battle with Ursa Minor.

Not only is it an absurd show of strength, the skill is next level. Milking the cows at a distance, all at once, without even being able to see them? It's nuts.

I’m more surprised her horn didn’t crack from all that power she had to force out!

This was a perfect lesson in not showing off. The whole episode Trixie was showing how her magic is soooo strong and everyone loves her for this while others pressure Twilight to show up Trixie. Twilight never did because showing off was beneath her. She knew she was strong at magic and scenes like this proved that

I see a comment wondering how she got wings from a spell and not from this and it’s pretty simple; Her getting wings is not from the spell alone or magical abilities or she would have gotten then when she first got Spike. Twilight is the princess of friendship so she got her wings from over coming an actual threat towards her friends.

Agreed. In canon she's had some above princess level feats.

I think the reason why Celestia had such a focus on Twilight was not just because she cared about Twilight but also because she saw the danger Twilight could become had she never made friends. She could have been so dangerous that she'd easily defeat every villain, including Discord on a 1v1 with no elements of harmony.

Mary sues are blown out of proportion without explanation. Twilight is built up from episode 1. She's Princess Celestia's student. Mary sues tend to never fail. Twilight fails a bunch of times.

I didn't believe half of what she could do. While this particular scene is a bit lofty, Twilight's strain and effort convinces me this is well within her realm of possibility at this point in the story.

Like, I’d say my girl needs to be nerfed. But at least they tried to make it look like she was visibly struggling with the amount of magic she was using. Lol.

In my opinion after season 3 unicorns became too op. Magic required a lot of strength and skill before that but after that a baby could do spells twilight couldn't before season 3 despite being skilled. I don't watch mlp often so idk if my opinion matters, please correct me if i'm wrong

Uhm, I'm not sure who you're talking about. Starlight is absurdly strong, but she was always strong. I can't recall any unicorn's being very strong post season 3 save Starlight who deserves it. For example Trixie was still a lame-o post season 3. Perhaps you're referring to the Baby Cakes episode? Yeah. That's a trope in a lot of things. For example in Twilight the book series new vampires are absurdly strong for some reason as well. Not sure what started that but FiM adopted that approach as well.

I believe it's mana capacity. The more arduous the spell the more mana used. Every unicorn has a capacity that can be built upon but most are content with using theirs for their daily lives or jobs (rarity). Personally, I don't think physical strength has anything to do with it.

Honestly I've seen a lot of them. Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe (up to a point), The Owl House, Gravity Falls. MLP Gen 4 is actually the reason that I watched all the others. it taught me not to judge just cause it's geared towards a younger audience. It'll always have a special place in my heart.

I guess some people just don't watch adult things and sometimes there's things that raised us to think that way, like adventure time being an adult kids show, a show you can grow up with. As long as this guy isn't jizzing in a jar with a pony figure or seeking out the pony with pants I think we're good and he's safe. Other examples could also be regular show, Steven universe, SpongeBob, curious the cowardly dog, and cat dog. Those shows all ended but they've lasted entire childhoods. I just don't see why anyone should be attacking each OTHER because I personally like CN and murder mystery makeup Mondays. That's where this creator went wrong with that remark.
