@@ceu160193 Yeah it's the lack of knowledge we have about dinosaurs in general. I remember when I was a dinosaur fan (don't remember much from then) and it had the Spinosaurus and everything but the art for the velociraptor looked like the one from Jurassic pat which is like a completely different dinosaur. It isn't just the lack of feathers but the size too. People seem to also think that Dinosaurs were all in the same period. As much as I love Jurassic Park it is funny that despite it being called that a majority of the dinosaurs especially the main ones are from the cretaceous Period

Imagine the Spear hero's reaction to Fitoria's human form... That would be a real-quick way for Naofumi to get rid of him...

Well that was crazy awesome. And Fitoria mentioned something about a dragon emperor. That sounds important. As for Fitoria herself her power, wisdom, desire to protect the world if not the people living in it, and apparent general knowledge of "what's really going on"(though she seems reluctant to share all the details for whatever reason) just reminds me of the Dragon Aspects from Warcraft.

Ultra DMX I mean, it works in Shield Hero. The Three other heroes are people who have played games that are similar to the world they’ve been transported to, while Naofumi is the only one who sees this as more than a game.

@@lazysoulhere4324 Kushala Daora. And elder dragon from Monster Hunter. It's body is essentially covered in steel scales making it extremely tough. Swords and Spears just bounce off of it. If that wasn't enough, it can manipulate the wind. Conjuring tempests, wind walls, and cyclones.

If we consider the “relative” strength of Elder Dragons to monsters/Hunters to the Heroes in Shield Hero, I think Fitoria could _probably_ take on Fatalis, although the fire would be a big problem. Her speed far outpaces any MH monster, and the damage she can deal in that time is enough to oneshot a titanic, heavily-armored monster like the dino here. Not to mention, she has a lot of magical capability. One of the Heroes could probably take on Fatalis, as well. They would have little to no problem breaking his head or chest. That said, Kushala’s only strong point would really only be wind, not his skin. Unfortunately, being a Filolial, wind magic is nothing.

The music is the best part in this show. The story is great and the music just adds to it.

To me, the use of the saxophone has the same qualities of American pop music in the late 70s through the 80s - big and breathy. The scene raised to another level. Love this one.

This was my favorite scene in the anime. Of course there were objectively better moments in season 1, but naofumi just started to feel OP only to be shown this world is full of more powerful beings that he didn't know existed. Just like when hunter x hunter revealed the dark continent and the 5 calamities, when magi explored the space beyond the fanalis homeland, and when we entered the grand line. You can't find that kind of adventure and exploration anywhere in this world anymore

I just realized something, Filo has a dragon crystal in her as well.. The Filo Queen almost seemed to know who the Raptor was, saying that "Your body reacted badly to the Dragon Emperors Fragment and grew beyond control". What if this is one of the old hero's raptors? That got a crystal like Filo, and had to be locked away because once the hero had to leave, it could no longer be controlled. :O

Damn in this world I guess chocobos rank higher than dragons and dinosaurs in the hierarchy.
