♥️ the blackpink company (YG ENTERTAINMENT) is specialized and characterized by making totally real music videos, they do not skimp on resources, all the scenery is built 100% from scratch especially for the mv, no green screens were used, nor CGI throughout the video, everything is TOTALLY REAL, also the girls' outfits are CHANEL, YVES SAINT LAURENT, CELINE AND DIOR.

Doing those props they made and the back grounds, i dont think thats easy...you Should put a lot of effort making that.. So don't tell us thats easy... Yeah but actually A lot of kpop groups and even movies not just in Korea but in Asia dont really use CGI if you see the behind the scenes of bts, stray kids, mamamoo etc all don’t use CGI

this is how different YG is with other companies' music video, they rarely do green screen. they really invests in music video production.

YG have their own huge warehouse-like place just for sets and props for all of their artists MVs. They dont use greenscreen.

All Blackpink music videos are high quality and each scene has its own meaning ... I always like the BLACKPINK concept especially the YG Entertainment artists

The line “ up in the sky ..” it’s a diss .. antis likes to ‘look down’ on them. now they’re saying the only way you’ll see us .. you have to look up ..

Among the biggest labels in Kpop, BLACKPINK's company (YG ENTERTAINMENT) doesn't skimp out on the budget for all their artists' videos. YG ENTERTAINMENT by the way is the biggest label in Kpop and in South Korea known for their hip-hop roots. Hip-hop is YG's signiture, that's why artists like BLACKPINK has such very good charisma in live performances and especially in rap. Of course they pay attention to vocals and dance too but rap is where they specialize in and YG artists' stage presence are insane!! Among the big label in KPOP, YGE is known for spending the most on their astists' videos. KPOP who worked in K-industry were interviewed unanimously mentioned how YG does not play around their videos and spend maybe too much (for some people) on their artists' outfits. This is especially true for BLACKPINK. BLACKPINK music videos are known for NOT using CGI and green screen at all (the only one known is one of their debut tracts "WHISTLE"). They'd rather build multiple physical sets and use practical effects (if you're interested, they have the behind the scenes of every music video they did. They named them "Making Film", it's on their youtube channel. Just search up the music video + making film). YG ENTERTAINMENT (their label) really said: Music video? Nah. If we didn't spend at least 10M USD it aint a legit a music video. Let's just call it a perfromance instead.

A lot of Kpop groups use CGI, but that ain´t a YG thing. YG only uses green screen when there is no way for them make a real set (ex: Rosé siting on top of the world in Whistle) YG and CGI are almost always social distancing :P
