I highly recommend you to check out " The Light Within, Elementalist Lux " and the " As we fall " both are beautiful. The light within is so underrated barely anyone reacts to it, even tho its very emotional.

The 'new guy' you didn't recognize is also the newest champion added into the game, Akshan, he's kind of a lore related release since his weapon, The Absolver, can bring people back to life if he kills the person that killed them. This happens in the video as well: you see Senna and Gwen's life force so to speak drain from them to revive Isolde, so 'killing' Isolde brings them back.

Not quite. She was a doll, but she became human. She is like end of story Pinocchio, an actual human who used to be a doll.

I hope one day they make a cinematic for Kalista who is fully connected Viego's past and Ruination. Actually iam so suprised to not see her around Sentinels of Light. She pursues her revenge against Viego.

Heey, great reaction as always! So for some context to this event that they were advertising for more than a year: for me and many lol players this event was quite disappointing, the final was very anti-climatic, it seemed rushed and some of the most important characters to the lore didnt even appear in the cinematic They made different story telling teams, to the diferent medias, like one for the cinematics, other for the visual novel inside the game, etc Which is fine at first, but the narratives, dialogs and actions dont really match, making us question which story is canon and which arent, to what they replied that all are canon (?) Anyway, it just seemed really bad management from their part and made it look like they only cared about how much money they could make and not at all about the game itself

OK, so I know it is an older video by riot, but it fits so much into your wheel house I really feel like you need to watch/react to "A New Dawn" This one was pretty early as far as riot videos. Not the oldest by far, but early for sure. But it is all action scenes and no music to cater too. I think your reaction and insight would be really fun to watch on it. Please put "A New Dawn" on your list.

this cinematic make look great from an outsider perspective, but for people who are actually invested in the lore, it was absolutely awful. many characters having actual connections to this story is not part of the final fight, instead we have a group of generic humans. and it was barely even a fight, they took all of 5 seconds to pin Viego down, and then he took all 5 seconds to broke out.

Yeah. I really don't understand how Riot can fuck up so bad. Their storytelling in very short videos is top notch. There really are not much examples that can do what they do. But then they set up such a gigantic event just to bring it to an end in such a poor way? Have more characters fight Viego, maybe let them die by his had so we see his power - for gameplay and lore you can bring them back with the Absolver. It is still a good cinematic - just not what the build-up promised...

I'm not really familiar much with League's lore, but I heard a LOT that this cinematic was the most disappointing one Riot has released. In terms of animation and the elements in this cinematic, it was still really well done but story/lore-wise they really f'd it up so bad, people are saying the whole League of Legends lore is literally ruined. This was supposed to be more grand and "big" since I heard that this event in the story was 9(?) years in the making in League's lore; so much was lacking in this cinematic (champions/characters that were supposed to be involved in this).

Riot is making a league of legends MMO and Im 100% positive Veigo will be back for an expansion. Definitely not the last we are going to see of him.

@@PhilipHarts Yes, they just started hiring for an MMO based in the League universe. It’s probably 6-8 years out though unfortunately

The biggest disappointment i have ever had with league. The ruination started so good and they just ruined everything with this one... Pretty bad Champions choice, no Yorick and others, just new shirtless guys and cute chicks. The powerlevel is a joke, Viego losing so easily... Also the Sennas 'so predictable' line is just disgusting... Btw didn't Viego already steal the soul from Senna in previous cinematic?

I do believe, if I remember correctly, that Senna ended up finding another piece of Isolde.

6 :52 actually no there should be 6 more acording to the lore. They seriously messed up and lore in cinematics doesn't match event lore and it doesn't match comic lore. Plus there are a lot of mistakes in it so it doesn't even match canon lore

this ending to the viego saga was great would have loved to see more of the shadow isle champs but grand nevertheless. however there is a rpg coming later this year, that also centers around the ruined king. its set before the sentinel stuff started so i believe its near the start of when the ruined king starts his war It will also be very familiar to the rpg called battle chasers in looks

This event was kind of disappointing tho... The Shadow Isles part is probably the biggest offender: Yorick, the champ whose literal purpose was to fight the ruined king when the time came got swept under a rug and he did something that even the established lore contradicts (giving an entire party the Tears of Life). Everything about it was really safe and not very progressive at all.

@@jensvandoorslaer6590 i do think not having yorick was stupid dont get me wrong. but knowing riot im just surprised that graves was even in it at all, not to talk about panth and the fact that they could have made it longer and shown the rest of the crew, pyke rengar etc would have made it far better. but i think it was great given what riot tends to do

@@jensvandoorslaer6590 I feel like people misinterpret Yorick's motivations. His aim is to restore the Isles to what they once were. This does not have anything to do with fighting Viego directly. Yes, sure, his bio says that he "wished to find this king and undo the curse he had unleashed", but character development is a thing, and Yorick is intelligent, he has probably realized over the *thousand or so years* since the Ruination that he is unable to do it alone, and thus made the Sentinels his instrument of vengeance. Also, he didn't give the Tears of life away, he anointed the Sentinels with them so that they could take on Viego in the deeper parts of the Isles.
