I’ve met Matt three separate times. Didn’t want to take up his time but all three conversations went exactly like this. He’s engaging and incredibly down to earth! Love this guy so much!

Once I ran into him at a park, while he was on the phone. I didn’t notice so I waved and said hey! He literally finished his conversation, hung up and came over to talk for like 20 minutes. Such a cool dude!

This is exactly the sorts of interviews with directors I want to see. A conversation between the two that feels like two people having a conversation, it's not fake at all, and is transparent about behind the scenes topics you don't normally hear filmmakers talk about on press junkets.

It was a really chill setting at Lucasfilm in Presidio. He was standing next to a red storm trooper. No one else for press was there so no rush to answer questions

Came back to this after watching operation avalanche and the dirties, the dirties has ended up being one of my all time favorites. When the DVD re-releases comes out I will buy both of them for sure.

Scouring all these interview for any mention of a Nirvanna the band continuation/release, Matt just seems so up to talk about anything. A lot of interviewees seem like it's the last place they want to be so it's nice to see someone actually want to talk.

Yeah he was very talkative and approachable. Not a lot of people on the red carpet this time. I have a feeling his next film will be a packed red carpet.

I can't wait for a physical copy of The Dirties! I am so mad I never bought one when the first set came out.
