Stefano, this video rivals anything I would see on a nature channel on cable. Beyond the excellent photography and videography, which we've come to expect, you are an excellent storyteller. I think this video is your best ever! Way to go!

Just found your videos- absolutely love the pond and video clips you've done! About the 2 nests. Some varieties of turkeys' gender are dependent on the temperature during incubation. The female had 2 nests, probably to hatch one set as male and the other female.
Stefano, I dont comment on many YT videos but feel I just have to on this one as I have absolutely loved this series about your new pond. You have worked so very hard to provide the local wildlife with this amazing facility and also documented it so well - congratulations 🙂

My heart swells with fascination and love for this little pond and its residents. Thanks for letting an old lady live vicariously through you and your process. This includes watching you build from start to finish. Good educational commentary. Thank you!
Whilst I knew about the symbiotic relationship between ants and aphids, it was amazing to see what actually happens. You are not only an wonderful photographer, but sharing such a deep understanding of nature, is a blessing to all of us
This is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. I’m so glad I found your channel. All that effort building the new pond has really paid off!

How wonderful to see the fledglings leave the nest. And all thanks to you my friend. You provided a beautiful habit where all species can thrives and call home. Congrats well done. This video made me cry. Thanks tears of joy. from UK 🇬🇧👍👍
Already watched like 3-4 videos on these ponds from you, it's like a nature documentary without the fluff. Your knowledge of species, both animal and botanical, makes me want to learn more than just "that's a tree", "oh look a bird" or "that's a flower". Guess I will have no choice but to subscribe haha. Nice.
You are an amazing film-maker - this had me engrossed right from the start. Beautiful footage of a beautiful little piece of paradise. So many different birds and insects there! The accompanying music was just right too. This was a really restful video to watch, I loved the commentary, and the little swallow at the end almost had me in tears. I was so glad it got out of the nest box! I learned lots of things from this video. I never knew all that about the ants and aphids, for instance. Fascinating! Already looking forward to your next!

You can not have one thing with out the other it's one big circle of life. Wildlife benefits off each other. No matter what spieces it is. Mother nature is so beautiful and can be so destructive to. You so lucky to live where you are. That's what I call paradise. Just nature all around. from UK 🇬🇧👍👍
Youve once again proved that biodiversity is the key to a healthy ecosystem. Its not just food, it not just water. It includes also includes home, shelter and diverse food sources. Well done Stefano!
I actually shed a tear for the little bird at the end.
Wow!! Incredible! It was like watching a documentary but better! I appreciate that you’re using native plants to encourage wildlife around your pond. Lobelia cardinalis is one of my favorites for ponds! Hummingbirds adore it.
@StefanoIaniro

Thank you! I put a bunch of seeds of that plant for the hummingbirds. Since they’re perennials I’ll only see them flower next year. If I don’t get enough flowering I’m thinking of transplanting them. I really hope they flower next year 😁
I'm so proud of that little bird for making out into the world.

Felt for that little fella at the end, spending the night alone. Even if he didn't make it in life, at least he got his day in the sun.

I immensely enjoy the channel. Thank You Stefano!
Oh. So cute that last little fledgling.
This is awesome! You did a great job and I enjoy listening to you!
Wow, beautiful images. A pleasure to look at your work.
This channel's really been nice to fine, it reminds me of when I was young at my grandmas, who lived in the woods. I'd stumble upon bird nests, and watch Chikadees eating at the feeders, and blue jays all over the trees. IT was my favorite place to be whenever I could. Even now I love sitting on the porch and just listening to the birds and tree frog calling in the summer.
It's amazing how many people adore wildlife. I hope the people with over maintained gardens follow your lead and go wild. It's so wonderful.
Capturing the first moments in the little bird's life and achieving freedom was amazing. Great story telling. So, I subscribed.
Fascinating watch your videos! Congratulations for the success of the pond! Thank for sharing
Absolutely facinating to learn about the aphid-ant relationship!
You have become a master on storytelling in a bigger sense than just wildlife as much as I enjoy this topic. The usage of different kinds of filming techniques add a lot, for example the flowers footage or the spider hunting the bug and then backing off after getting the chemical counterattack was a great episode on its own. Well done.
