Nice to see some behind the scenes of Heartbeat. There are some uploaded to youtube but not many, less so from the earlier Nick series. Why is footage like this so rare?. You'd think there would be lots of videos like this especially in Whitby where it's always crawling with people. I have a home video of the filming at the police house in Askwith when Nick Berry was still in the show, from series 6 filmed in June 1996.

I lived on Belle Vue Terrace in Whitby and saw this episode Little Angel being filmed on Skinner Street. I witnessed these scenes and others as they were being shot.

I wonder if anyone filmed any behind the scenes footage when they were having the car rally outside the Aidensfield Arms?. There was one from series 9 where Blaketon starts the race off outside the pub, one of the cars was an E-Type roadster. There was also another rally held by Vernon Scripps where Vernon drives a white Jaguar S100, and there was also a Jaguar C-Type (a replica). I think there was around series 11. Would be great to see the filming of that but unlikely anyone recorded anything or wants to upload it.
