4 hours and you're all the way down here? Wish we had the ability to pass light through fiber optic cables to camera sensors. Would really like to disconnect lenses from cameras to get even more interesting shots.

you should do this again, but with the sugar into water, so we could possibly see the sugar being pulled off the cube and dissolving into the water.

When the lens dipped into the tea following the sugar cube I felt like I was the second sugar cube falling in and it was some kind of satisfying that I was not expecting...

I thought for sure I saw a video where they named their sound designer below and he was in the comments. Went back to see it again and couldn't find it. It's been driving me crazy ever since. lol
The side-view spinning was the most awesome visual thing i've ever experienced. It felt like pure awesome science fiction, but it was real. I'll never look at water the same again. Thank you!!
Love how you can roughly tell how old the video is based purely on the state of Dan's coat.

There is literally nothing else that makes me feel like I'm a little kid again who is just overjoyed and in awe of something so cool like watching things in slow motion.
You can totally take all this footage and make your own tea commercial. Indulge yourself with a cup of SMG tea... SMG tea....I’d drink that...just not cold.

Mind you, make water in cgi is one of the most difficult thing to do, but I got you, water in Super slow motion doesn't look like a real thing.

Ooooh! That sugar cube gave me an idea. You should drop a steel bearing ball in some of that colored powder you have. A fixed camera and dropping the ball at an angle. Perhaps try to make layers of different colors. Horizontal, vertical and random layers. Drop different objects. You get the idea.. Never quit doing slow mo! 😍

There is just something so peaceful and beautiful about things filmed in slow motion. Your channel will forever be one of my absolute favorites.
That was absolutely cinema quality material right there. I can hear Speilberg or Nolan saying, "hey, call this slow mo guys for a sugar cube shot." It really was good.

This is deadass one of the most visually impressive things to ever come out on this channel
These are the videos that are especially fun to watch. I dig seeing the labor put into it, not many others show the difficulty of it. The technique and skill set it takes.

That side view after the green colour is definitely going in some AAA Hollywood CGI sequence
This was so relaxing, from the slo mo music to the water making me feel like I’m surfing
I really liked the vortex shots of the spinning water with the coloring dropping in and watching that in sooper-dooper slo-mo!! Very nicely done!!

@@Moxtrox I've never been zapped by an American plug when using it normally. Only way to get zapped is if you touch the metal prongs while it's being inserted into the plug. I'm gonna have to assume it's just a dumb Englishman probablem. You could probably get your government to take more of your money too hold your hand and make sure you're safe when using plugs. Isn't the Englishman way "security before freedom"?

And after looking at the footage over and over... There's NO WAY he got shocked. Unless his extension cord was cut near his hand. It takes almost 75,000 Volts to arc 1 inch in the air. The audible pop you hear is the connection being made inside because there is a load on the line. - Make sure your electronics are off before you connect them as well.

This is probably some of the best footage I've seen you guys ever do. I love the depth of field you get when you were dropping things into the drink. Really awesome.
I really loved watching a water vortex as a kid, and this video made the memories a 1000x better

Marc Grondin only issue is that at the speed it spins, the sugar would be dissolved very quickly and it would be difficult to catch that on camera before the sugar dissolves

@@mission101 if you had a bunch of sugar in a cold cup of tea it would sit at the bottom. Then you turn the cup on and watch it spin up.
1,8mill likes these kind of videos. Not everyone press like, anything you plan and film can be redone with different colours, metals, water etcetera. Always just as satisfying! love it!

This makes simple things very emotional
The adding of the food coloring during filming is genius
It's like watching a gateway opening up to a multiverse. It's amazing.
Just milk and the dye would have been cool too! Deffo need more of this!
Could you do an ice cube in boiling oil. Should either blowup or create a cool bubble effect.
The shots of the sugar cube, especially when the splashes were in focus were really awesome
I can't believe how good this channel still is after all these years. This video was stunning - I love watching you guys play around with the possibilities available to you, and I really enjoyed what you produced this time. Some of those side view shots were absolutely mesmerizing. I could have watched that for ages.
