Dot was one of the greatest characters in British TV history. Then you saw June in interviews and she was the complete opposite of Dot. One of the best interviews I've ever seen was June on the Graham Norton show with Lady Ga Ga. She'd obviously had a few drinks but it was absolutely hilarious. RIP Dot and June ❤️❤️

I’m an Old Lady in The USA, who first started watching Eastenders on our public tv station, running it about 10 years off the present, decades ago. Had 2 separate occasions of sick & dying dogs, who would perk up when they heard the theme song, as it was treat & snuggling time their entire lives. Managed to watch Every episode with getting the Internet,& now have Britbox…& a disabled Doxie from IVDD, who gets Soo excited when She hears the theme start!!! My cockatiel of 30 years knew the Andy Griffin/Mayberry song that was whistled,& the Eastenders whistle, that he repeated Relentlessly!!! Lots of Very good, touching,& Loving memories around the soap that puts Ours to shame,& all my favorite soaps here, are long gone now. Always Loved June/Dot on & off the show,& I can’t think of Anything y’all could’ve done differently, Better, or added, for the Magnificent Send Off she was given!!! You’ll be hard pressed to top that Genuine, Loving,& Heartfelt Farewell, but that’s a Good thing, as June/Dot’s Deserves to stand alone. Her children having Cameos-Just Wow!!! And the pack of cigarettes/fags was a priceless detail!!! Thank you!!!🥰

I followed June/Dot for over 40 years...I can't imagine Eastenders without her!

The special theme at the end right the final notes really tugging at everyone’s hearts

It was an emotional episode, knowing she’s not actually around anymore 🥺 June brown will forever be missed and so will the character dot ❤

I lost my nan at the age of 3 years and all I know is that she's in a better place and living her best life and I loved her from the bottom of my heart ❤️💕❤️❤️💕❤️

I got so emotional my self reminded me of some of my family passes. But wow what a drama I love eastenders I’ve watched it from day 1 dot was a true genius at what she did best being an actress R I P June brow. And dot cotton very special lady god bless this screen queen. 🙏❤️

Dot had so many friends and connection's throughout her time on the square, so many she helped so it seemed unrealistic that many old faces wouldn't return.

I bet this was so emotional to film considering June Brown passed away not long ago. She played Dot Branning amazingly tbh we will always miss her she was the Grandmother of Albert Square ❤

Saw the episode yesterday and it was very touchy June Brown was a very talented woman and will be missed

We watched it and it was beautiful. Actually we are watching East Enders for years and years Greetings and respect from 2 huge fans in the Netherlands

I live in North Carolina. Watched EE for YEARS. This past year BBC stopped running this beloved program. The episodes were twelve years behind. If ANYONE knows how I could get my hands on EE episodes from 12 years ago, PLEASE let me know. Would have to be on American DVD format. British discs won’t work here. I MISS MY EASTENDERS!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!

My PBS started broadcasting in 1987 and so I started watching as a teenager. A year ago they stopped EE here too. Yes, our episodes stopped just before Danielle revealed who she was. KZread is probably the only way we can see old episodes --- or bug Pluto to broadcast it on one of their British channels. Don't know why BBC America cannot show reruns --- all they show nowadays is terrible American television. It would be nice if Britbox showed some of the classics -- at least some of the more famous episodes or storylines.

The cast and all of the production did an amazing thing in these 2 episodes! It was British Soap back in the golden age! Let’s hope soaps understand now, what storylines we really want. It’s not the worst of everything that’s going on in society. It should be celebrating what little values we have left

Amazing how crap Eastenders is today compared to how it was in the nineties/noughties. Rubbish storylines and of course characters like June, Barbara etc are no more. It's a shadow of it's former self.

Have no clue who Dot is... I watch only for Ben and Callum.
