Yes I always thought that and it is the first time that I hear somebody else saying that. I really wish that people living in the east knew that what they are aiming at (trying to be like the West), is pointless because it's just a mirage.

SubhanAllah this is so true.... growing up in both Asia and Scotland I can a hundred percent relate having both felt my own emptiness (of living in a Western society) and also living as a Muslima in Malaysia and Singapore where people wanna be more Westernised.. this definitely hit...

-i totally agree with you, in muslim countries mostly only old people pray in mosques or even take their religion seriously and pratise it because they want to not because they feel like anyone is obliging them to do so , however in the west the youth is growing more interested in Islam,I've seen young people wanting to learn more about the religion, worshipping god with very pure intentions and that in countries where they are surrounded by temptations and haram. May Allah guide all of us to the right path. -one of the things that i like the most about your videos is how sometimes you show the funny careless Yahya and then just switch to serious Yahya who shares his thoughts ,speak about things that he likes and let's not forget all of these random small but deep reflections that make me question myself a lot. so basically watching your videos is both enjoyable but also helps us learn more about life,deen and ourselves. -thank you for this video Yahya wish you all the best inshallah, may god bless you💜

Turkey has such beautiful masjids but with how empty they can be sometimes we have to remind ourselves that they're not just touristic landmarks on our list of things to do, they are houses of 'ibadah - may Allah subhannahu wa ta'ala rectify our hearts and enable us to fill them again also beautiful recitation اللهم بارك

Wallahi so true! Since staying in a muslim country for a couple of years now, I've seen that the people are not really interested in going to the masaajid and they idolize that western lifestyle. I was at a big public park the other day and it was time for salah so I was asking around for a مصلى and every person I asked said جمعي الصلوات لما توصلي البيت and they continued on enjoying their time in the park . أما as people from west we already know how empty that lifestyle is so we go to muslim majority countries only to find them tryna طبق the western lifestlye there. SubhanAllah

About this passage 9:00 on sleep, where I live it is impossible to get more than 4h of sleep straight. Isha and fajr are close from one and another during this period. Therefore, sneaking a few naps during the day becomes VITAL. I feel lucky to be able to do so alhamdulillah, some don't get to sleep during the work week. May Allah grant us energy and success

Since the al mulk video was out i always put it on before sleeping and just read quran while listening It helps me in terms of feading right and i already memorised it

You should have a weekly upload schedule. They dont have to always be long vlogs,anything with some benefit will do, reaction videos, shorts, challenges, a quick ayah or hadeeth reminder etc

I get your point but I think it will decrease the quality of his vlogs which is one of the main reasons I watch him. I rather wait a month for a really good vlog than get mediocre vlogs every week

What if when u recite some surah there is a need of compulsory prostation in that surah . so inform us so that we also perform the compulsory prostation of the surah in the quran only if u recite those lines . by this we all will be rewarded . and hope to visit this beautiful country mashaallah and meet u someday )

that hadith was classed as sahih by Al-albani. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Withholding of payment by a rich man is wrongdoing.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2400), Muslim (1564). And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If one who can afford it delays payment, his honour and punishment become permissible.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (3682), al-Nasaa’i (4689) and Ibn Maajah (2427), classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Irwa’ al-Ghaleel, 1434. What is meant by his honour becoming permissible is that one may say, “So and so delayed paying me and he wronged me.” Punishing him means detaining him. This is how it was interpreted by Sufyaan and others.

Not a hate comment at all, I love your videos. I just want to advise you not to say "third time's a charm" because I have heard that it originated from the trinity (I'm not sure you can do more research on it if you'd like) and I know it wasn't your intention but just be careful next time. I have noticed you say lot of slang/terms you have probably learned from the west like "what the h*ll" (which I have also heard is impermissible because it's like joking about jahannam) and we don't realize the meaning behind them or think too much about them but when we do we realize the evil that is hidden. So brother be careful and try to avoid common terms like that. May Allah bless you :)

Assalamu Alaikum W W Just wanted to draw your attention to the Hadith you were discussing; The Hadith has been transmitted with many chains of narrations, hence the Hadith receives Quwwah. Therefore, Hafidh Al Munthiri, Al Buwaisiri and others have done tahseen of the Hadith. Sh Albani and Sh Shuayb Al Arnaut have also affirmed the above. And Allah SWT knows best.

Salam alaykum, I’ve been wondering about this for a while. I find that I can’t recite the Quran for very long because my throat ends up hurting a lot and feeling strained. You should know turkish history after ottoman empire when some new idea secolar ideas took power by help of western country, they changed school system, hijab banned, [saaid al nursi] who was kurdish he was a Muslim legend at that point you can check his life, and after lots of struggle when ardogan Come to power things kinda changed, so these they have 3 ppl 1 Muslims but not muamin 2 secolars 3 muaminin, so that's kinda sad, that's Istanbul, you can check other cities.

فهذا الحديث له عدة طرق، ولا يسلم شيء منها من ضعف؛ ولذلك قال الحافظ ابن حجر في بلوغ المرام: كلها ضعاف. اهـ. وسبقه شيخه ابن الملقن، فقال في البدر المنير: هذا الحديث مروي من طرق، كلها ضعيفة. اهـ. وإنما حسَّنَه من حسنه من أهل العلم وقوَّاه، بمجموع طرقه، كما قال الحافظ المنذري في الترغيب والترهيب: وبالجملة: فهذا المتن مع غرابته يكتسب بكثرة طرقه قوة. اهـ. وتبعه على ذلك البوصيري في إتحاف الخيرة المهرة بزوائد المسانيد العشرة، وذكره البغوي في المصابيح في قسم الحسان، وصححه من المعاصرين بطرقه: الشيخ الألباني في إرواء الغليل، وحسنه بطرقه: الشيخ شعيب الأرناؤوط في تحقيق سنن ابن ماجه. وأصح منه على أية حال: حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ -رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ-، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: ثَلاَثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ: رَجُلٌ أَعْطَى بِي ثُمَّ غَدَرَ، وَرَجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًّا فَأَكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ، وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ، وَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ أَجْرَهُ. رواه البخاري. وبوب عليه: بَابُ إِثْمِ مَنْ مَنَعَ أَجْرَ الأَجِيرِ. وأما القرآن فحسبك منه أمره بالوفاء بالعقود، وأداء الأمانات، كما قال تعالى: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ [المائدة:1]، وقال سبحانه: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا [النساء:58] وقال عز وجل: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ [الأنفال:27]، وقال تبارك وتعالى: وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ [المؤمنون: 8]. والله أعلم.

around the 20:45 mark you said bismillahi rahmani raheem b4 u ate but tim humble says the proper way to say it is just Bismillah, not the full ting :-)
