It’s pretty new to call it Elizabeth Tower, the name is only officially 10 years old He did call Tower Bridge “Westminister bridge” though, because people confuse Westminister bridge with Tower bridge with London bridge.

I’m not actually sure if the whole “Peter and the star catchers” series is cannon, but I’m pretty sure that they give a whole lot of clues as to where never land is, if not actually saying g where. It’s been a little while since I’ve read those wonderful books though.

In that rendition Neverland is somewhere around the Canary Islands, off the coast of Spain, based on how the ship would have been traveling from London to the fictional kingdom that would have been in North Africa or near Israel. But yeah, I'm not sure if that counts since it's a derivative work and a prequel. What? You can't talk about my favorite book series without me..

Peter is a very morally ambiguous character. The book heavily implies that he’s a sociopath, because, as he’s eternally a child, he eternally has the morals of one. This is fitting, as he was raised by fairies, who are themselves noted for being very morally ambiguous.

I absolutely love theories like this, using subjects like History and Geography on an actually interesting topic. I totally didn't mind when Mat started talking about the Geography, felt like I actually learned a thing or two.

When I was like a little kid, I wanted to run away to Neverland with Peter. So I packed a small bag of clothes and then I sat for probably about 20-30 minutes and thought “happy thoughts” to be able to fly. I also stared at the second star to the right the whole time. My inner child died that night.

Neverland sort of appeals to many not only because they wish they lived in a eutopia without typical adult responsibilities, but they're also drawn to the immortality aspect of it. Think about it, if you don't age, you never die of old age.

Not-so-fun fact: Peter Pan is not exempt from the trend of kids' stories being _way_ darker in their original incarnation. In the original, Peter was the only one who didn't age, and he regularly performed cullings of the lost boys who got too old.

at a reading, Neil Gaiman said that when he wrote it it wasn't necessarily intended for children and he asked his editor to test it out on her kids (or publicist or something) and they did the kid was like yeah it's fine....and then years later when it was on stage Neil Gaiman saw the kid and was like "this whole thing is like this because of you because you weren't scared' and the (now teenaged) kid was like....yeah I was actually terrified and it gave me nightmares but I really wanted to know how the story would end.....and that's why it's a "children's book"...I'm paraphrasing of course, but I'm sure you can find Neil Gaiman talks where he tells it better

Fun Fact: The original Peter Pan would kill any child that grew up. In one copy, the whole, “Never grow old,” bit never existed. So for good’ol Peter to keep his band of child warriors, he had to off those who became adults. Isn’t History fun?

There were actually several revisions of Peter and Wendy before it became published. In a very early version, Peter was the villain of the story. That didn't happen in the published version. The actual published version is what's considered canon -- just like with any other book.

Peter stays young forever because it is his nature. He is forever trapped in the present, which is why his memory is to terrible. In a version of the book, Barrie even mentions that the lost boys do grow older and when they do Peter “thins them out”

Another clue for thought: In the Disney Junior series "Jake and the Neverland Pirates," there is a scene where Jake, Izzy, and Cubny are instructed to go to London. However, the kids have no idea whatsoever as to what London is or how to get there. This proves that Neverland is another world entirely, as they are old enough to know what London is if they were normal kids.

I started watching the videos of this channel just yesterday and the theories made me want to watch the movies again and again to find the scenes u showed (by the way I did binge watch it channel)

Forget the food storm, Flint made a nuclear reactor. He can not only split molecules, or remove electrons, he can split the nuclei of atoms to form new ones and arrange them to make food. He made the 3D printers from the Fallout series.

This is great. ^O^ using geography to find Neverland. just one small issue. NEVERLAND HAS HUGE FLIPPING MOUNTAINS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLAND!!!!!! Looking at Turneffe Atoll i see not a singe mountain.

Side note: the crocodile DID NOT bite Hook's hand off. It clearly states in both the book and the movie that Peter cut it off and threw it to the crocodile.

Makes a good amount of sense though. Many of the Lost Boys ran away from home and lack the wisdom and maturity due to never growing up. Even the pirates could be reasoned with (the original Jolly Roger flag was originally the more merciful one, it meant that the pirates were willing to take prisoners.). But a fight with the lost boys could end up even bloodier...

+maygua cotto O.U.T. uses an "alternate" version for the Disney movies. Hence Hansel & Gretel being in both season 1 AND season 7. Same with Alice (Hey, Disney! Still waiting for O.U.T. in Wonderland to reach DVD/Blu-Ray!). However, I get what you mean.

I have a dark theory . You know how Peter Pan brought the darling children to never land well I think he did the same with the lost boys he purswaded the lost boys to come with him and instead of bringing them back he never let them leave . While watching the first film a thousand times (and laughing a lot about this theory I have), Peter Pan is truly a narcist. It's this type of behaver that puts Wendy in all sorts of danger. Don't you think that Peter Pan could have as much fun, but never wonder about the consequences of death. Actually, Neverland is a very dark and dangerous place the more I think about it. How dangerous are Peter Pan's games?

Theory: Neverland is just heaven. THE KIDS ARE DEAD. PETER PAN IS AN ANGEL.

No it's not. In the original book by James Matthew Barrie is said that Peter Pan goes for a while with the kids who dies on their way to heaven so they won't be scared, but it's something different from Neverland, it's just the road to heaven and not the heaven itself. (Sorry for my bad English, I am from Italy)

One time when I was about 4 or 5, my mom took me to see the broadway show Peter Pan. We sat near the back row of seats, almost the middle. When the show ended so called “pixie dust” fell from the ceiling. At the age that I was, I believed that if I touched it that I would fly. I was so excited, BUT since we were near the back, it didn’t drop near us. I was soooo mad, that I threw a tantrum because I was angry that my mom didn’t get seats closer to the “pixie dust” (which was really just glitter) my mom told me the other day that I was such a brat that day. Lol now that I think about it, I was really spoiled. I bet those seats cost at least a hundred dollars.

problem: The indigenous tribe was North American, Tiger Lilly didn't speak spanish. The Flower she got her name from is native to Asia and Eastern US. Her father's name is Great Big Little Panther. Florida is the only US state with panthers Tiger Lillies manatees and crocodiles. Never Land is in Florida.

Y'know? Actually the original Peter Pan's book tells you that Peter and Tinkerbell are Angels that come into dead kid's houses (The kids don't know that they're dead yet) to guide them to Heaven. That's why all the kids are 'Lost'. They aren't. They died. Peter included. (He was human before, but his baby cart (IS that called that way?) went off a steep Road and crashed. And that also explains why Kids do not grow, and why the Island is covered in clouds the first time the kids see It, and Why the Island is full of fantasy like things that any child would love. It's actually heaven.

Was is just me or did anyone else think it was on a different planet when they were a kid.

I always assumed that too. Especially since the pirates' ship appears as a cloud in the sky and the sequel actually has the characters fly through space to get to Neverland (meaning Disney's version is in space). Since the stars bit was added to the Disney adaptation, I'd assume they always meant it to be in space.

from what i understand one of the way's they can form is when a volcano is formed in the ocean. when this volcano forms an island a coral reef forms around it. over time the vocano breaks down and the ring that was first the edge of the island remains
