@@DemonDontPlay As far as I'm aware, Sharon Carter has never been a criminal mastermind prior to the MCU and is pretty much always a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent (unless said organization doesn't exist for whatever reason) within the various comicsverses. MatPat just got lucky.

Well, the one major inconsistency of the show is that Falcon is a government contractor, and it's well within his rights to get paid. People who get hired by the government to do rescue missions and blow up terrorists tend to get paid rockstar money.

I actually like Bucky now he has depth and a good character. I’m glad he and Sam are getting the attention they deserve.

@@10tailedbijuu I think Baconaise means by the MCU context. Bucky so far in the movies has been used as a side support character to further develop other characters such as Captain America. In this Disney+ show, we are actually getting character development, and larger concentration on his character for live action. In comics he’s already an established character, but in the MCU he still has a lot more to give than what’s already been given to us

To be fair, that had to happen that way. You can't tell the story of Bucky without first telling the story of Steve. The Winter Soldier was created to be Hydra's answer to Captain America, and Bucky wouldn't have been in the situation to become the Winter Soldier if he hadn't followed Steve into battle. Steve is an integral part of Bucky's origin story, but until he became the Winter Soldier he really was just Captain America's best friend and sidekick. Loyal to the last and an important part of the Howling Commandos, but not a true standout. Now he has to learn to stand on his own, to make his own path rather than follow in Steve's footsteps. He is finally free. To do what? To figure out what he stands for, to find himself and rediscover who he is. He finally has the chance to be his own person and I am excited to find out who that person is.

We went from Wandavision theory being mostly wrong with some things that ended up being true to TFATWS theory being pretty much spot on for half the things stated (USAgent, Sharon the Power Broker, Sam ending up siding with the Flag Smasher ideologies, etc.) Main wrong one was Zemo but I'm glad because we did get the 1 hour loop of Zemo dancing.

@@TF2Fan101 That's just normal for comics. The 90's were also filled with a lot of botched ideas but there are also several gems that grew into characters like Deadpool. Both Marvel and DC put out a lot of ideas, most fail, but some stand the test of time. It's just how the industry is.

yeah i'm sure thats on purpose. The cowl/Helmet he wore during his first reveal was so large. They probably did that tho show that steve was larger than life and left a hefty set ot shoes to fill.

We are couple more episodes in now, and Sharon acts real sus. I think that either she is the elusive 'Power Broker' they keep mentioning or she works for him/her. It would be fun if Sharon, who so far was portrayed as a positive character would turn out a villain while Zemo would begrudgingly stay on Sam and Bucky's side because they have common enemies now. It would gel really well with the 'these are complicated times' and 'we need different heroes' themes they keep dropping in in every episode.
