@@kristinbenton9340 Well, traditionally hosts of game, reality and talk shows are expected to look and be 30-50 years old. While yes, Matthew is somewhere around 35, his look is similar to somebody in the mid 20s.

Tom Scott has hosted so many more than just four, he would be so perfect

I love your energy, and I think you'd make a wonderful host. I'd love to see Michael Stevens, or Veritasium as potential hosts as well. There is a few blinding downsides however; firstly that would mean you or the respective host would no longer be producing your original content to which you all have millions of beloved viewers. Secondly, I would hate to see the drama, fallout and scandals the haters would levy against a potential new host. I love all that you guys produce, and the backlash of a community who would scrutinize you would devestate me.

Oh absolutely. If he had a worldwide audience the drama would get so much worse. Can you imagine the attack helicopter joke scandal on a nationwide scale? It would be chaos; especially since 99% of everyone watching the show has no idea of the context behind it.

Out of everyone mentioned Michael makes the most sense and I have a feeling he's more of the presentation style that Jeopardy might be looking for. He has all the qualities that Matt listed while also being a seemingly cerebral person who can be stoic at times. Also he can probably rock a mustache if needed. I think that serious and scientific presentation style would bridge the gap and garner respect from the older audiences wile also bringing in his KZread following.

Alright, I'm hopping on the Hire MatPat train. To his point about appealing to Gen Z but still being in touch with older generations - He is PERFECT for that. His communication is outstanding in how engaging and enthusiastic it is AND while yes his usual content of film/gaming is sort of niche - it's not SO niche that it makes Grandma go "who is this guy?" I loved that he covered the topic in this video AND used it as an opportunity to promote himself for the position - WITHOUT tearing anyone else down - also suggesting them as hosts. Honestly, a perfect Jeopardy for me would be him as the main host with like a Friday guest host or something like GMM or Marques or whoever. Sony should definitely keep this awesome guy in mind!

I already really love a lot of the candidates brought up, and Michael Stevens was actually one of the people I thought of first that would make one of the top three candidates I would love to see the most as host. But then seeing CGP Grey as a candidate surprised me. I love their videos, but didn't know they were super well known.

I think TikTok was pushing for Hank, but he said he’s very much not interested at this time in his life. Apparently he was once approached to be a game show host for something else and he said no because he wants to stay in Montana

Honestly, I've never been one to sign petitions or take part in group funding and surprisingly this will be the first petition I've ever signed. Jeopardy needs to put the show online as well! I need those quick highlights

For a long time I thought I was the only kid who watched Jeopardy. My goal has always been to answer 2 categories worth of questions.

If MatPat became the host of jeopardy it’s gonna get tough doing his KZread channels. Micheal from Vsauce would however make a pretty good host since almost everyone knows him due to him becoming a meme.

Hank and John Green alternating days or weeks of hosting would literally be the best. And they could roast each other at the start and end of each week like on Monday "I know my brother did a crappy job of hosting last week, but I'm here now." Or on Friday, "Let's see if my brother can live up to this next week."

I was a little on the fence until you mentioned the possibility of Hank Green being the host. I would love to see some Jeopardy hosted by Hank. Just imagining it made the idea click for me. I absolutely adore that man thanks to his hosting on Scishow.

Omg, Wouldn’t it be SO cool if we could connect the older generations to the people we watch and love today?? Imagine being able to tell your parents or aunts and uncles (and even some grandparents cuz i know theres some seniors out their who love shows like jeopardy too) about your favorite youtuber, (Markiplier usually ends up getting opportunities like this so let’s use him as an example) and they say “Oh yea, He hosted Jeopardy a few times, He was amazing!” and you end up watching A Heist with Markiplier on Thanksgiving as a family or something xD That thought is so precious, I can’t! I’ve always struggling to have conversions with other adults in my family because all they talk about is work, Cars, bills, Things i still don’t know much about (only 19, Give me a break lol) nor do i have any desire to chat about.

I would LOVE if he hosted Jeopardy. Also, the Green brothers would be AMAZING. Maybe Mark Rober too.
