    Penix, Nix and Daniels are my favorite Qbs coming out. I just love Penix cannon for an arm and he makes quick reads. Hopefully he can stay healthy and have a solid career.

    After watching this, Penix didn’t really look as bad as I thought. If Washington had even a semblance of a running game it might have been different. Michigan was way too good defensively for them to be one dimensional. That allowed their D-line to go after him and harass him all night. In the first half he was actually doing a good job taking what they were giving him and thus kept them in the game, but in the 2nd half you could see the constant pressure was starting to give him happy feet on top of the fact that they were losing and he was trying to push the ball down the field more and thus made a few more mistakes. From a talent perspective he could be a pretty darn good pro. But we will see.

    Yes, Michigan's def is good, and so are every nfl defensive. Good luck to the young kid. Hopefully, he gets drafted into a good spot to sit and develop.

    Most rookie qbs will have difficulty with NFL defenses in the beginning of career. Some over come, some don't!😮😅😊

    Honestly not as bad as people make it out to be but definitely some bad misses. A lot of qbs look like this when the four man rush is cooking.

    @@Fastcash4 There are the top defense like the Browns, Cowboys, Chiefs, etc that are extremely tough that any QB can struggle with, but I also think that it's relative to the players around too. Overall, I still think Penix can play with the best of them, just had a bad 2nd half.

    This is the type of game to expect from Penix at the next level. He can be a starter but i don’t see probowl level. When pressured he’s not accurate if it’s a tight window. Also rolling out he’s just okay. 2nd or 3rd round imho.

    @@andjohn7912 I watched the entire Texas game and it's the same thing. I think he has excellent arm talent, but he seems clunky with his mechanics at times. I'm just interested in how that will translate to the NFL when he's not playing with the best O line, Receiving core, and offensive system.

    Ngl Michigan secondary completely shut down Odunze, Polk, n McMillan + the O-line got manhandled by the defensive line. Still had a pretty decent game, aside from the awful picks and few miss throws bc of the blitz, I think that’s main thing he needs to work on to flourish in the nfl . But other than that, I wouldn’t use this as a reason why QB needy teams shouldn’t look at MPJ. He shredded Texas defense and was killing every team he played

  • @armen_ar323

    @armen_ar323

    I wouldn’t say that they shut down Odunze but they did a great job at the line of scrimmage. Penix missed Odunze at 1:16. Odunze would’ve had a TD and 50 more yards to his 87 for this game. Michigan’s defense still did a great job but Odunze is elite.

    @@armen_ar323 I guess I shoulda used “limited” him as he did get open a few times and Penix couldn’t connect with him, which is common to miss an open guy but unfortunately those kinda things lower ur draft stock. But yea UMI defense was just everywhere and Washington had no answer
