Resign him as cheap as possible on a one year deal. We need him on special teams stepping up so he can secure a spot on the roster.

His ceiling is so high and with an incentive heavy deal I feel like they can resign him for a good price

Only makes sense to keep Simmons, because if NYGs don’t they will need to draft a LB. Then unless they spend one of their top 3 picks on a LB, odds are very likely there will be a considerable down grade at the position. Guy’s just too good for the realistic value of the player, and he looked to be trending up at seasons end. I would try to sign him for as reasonable as possible for 2 seasons minimum, plus write in a team optional 3rd year, just in case he wants to go all pro on them or break a leg.

This might sound crazy but should play em at safety? He can cover TEs and tackle🤷🏾‍♂️. Just a question.

That exactly what I’ve been saying he’s a true safety and now with McKinney gone we will fill him in that spot because he has been all over the field last season on the line line backer safety he needs to stick at safety he’s tall asf and fast! That has been my prediction since I heard buzz about McKinney even before we traded him

He’s the perfect off Mockler linebacker half safety half backer in a dime or nickel look to cover backs out the backfield and tight ends Arizona used him wrong and the giants reaped the benefits of it

Now that McKenney is gone, move him to safety!!!!!! Anyone who saw him at Clemson KNOWS hes more of a DB than he is a LB

Yep been saying this he’s a true safety he was all over the field last year no true spot. It was all the plan with McKinney gone he will fill his spot couldn’t have been more perfect yes we lost McKinney but this dude is NICE! He just needs his opportunity

In my opinion they cant keep letting guys like this just walk out the door especially for the little bit they gave up to aquire him
