Film Photography Using a $8 projection lens with a large format camera

I got this Kodak Ektanon projection lens 7 inche f3.5 for US$8 off Ebay. This lens is for used on Kodak 35mm slide projector but I am curious could I adapt to use on my Afghan Box Camera which is using a photo negative of 5x7 inches.
