Film Photography and Volcanos with Kodak Tri-X 400

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Film Photography with Tri-X 400 is becoming one of my favourite pass times. In this awesome video, I shoot a 120 roll of Kodak Tri-X 400 for landscape photography at the Tama Lakes in Tongariro National Park. My film camera of choice for this video is my Hasselblad 503CW, which is a medium format film camera, it has interchangeable film backs and it makes 6 x 6 square format images. I use my 50mm CFI and 80mm CFE lenses.

Always been a fan of Tri-X as my go-to fast film and the one I reach for when I have no foreknowledge of the conditions I'm heading into!

great video again. I have been enjoying your trips and tips. Just want to ask one qustion 😛. I am currently using rolleiflex and I feel lots of limitation due to fixed lens.. What would you recommend as a landscape photographer; Hasselblad vs mamiya 6. thanks in advance.

Thank you 🙏 Hasselblad is more reliable but it’s heavier. The Mamiya 6 is lighter but has a common winder issue. It depends on what you will be using it for...

Great one again, missed your uploads! Also, do you edit the contrast in post or is it all in the negative? I Never seem to get those deep contrasts naturally

I usually use the box speed when I am using a tripod. I add exposure compensation to suit the scene.
