Film in Fairmount - Mamiya RZ67 Pro II Review
Фильм және анимация
Hey guys, decided to take the somewhat newly acquired Mamiya RZ67 out for a spin. This isn't going to be a super in-depth review, more of my thoughts on it and some things that I have learned over the past month. Hope ya enjoy the video!
Also I know there’s a dark slide holder, I just have a superstitious habit of putting it back. I do the same with the Hassy

The dark slide fits in the film back, you don’t need to put it in your pocket all the time...shoot without putting the dark slide in all the time and just put it back in when your changing backs or putting a new roll. And a strap helps with the weight when your carrying it around.
Dream camera. One day I’ll have it in my hands
Love this bro just ordered mine!!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾😭
I have two RZ67 PRO II bodies. I love the 3D look in the view finder and looking at my slides on the light table. I wish I could get that effect once I've digitized my images for print.
Best, as always.
🔥🔥🔥
My friendly advice to you Jesse is to buy a dedicated Mamiya left hand grip for your RZ67 which will allow you to carry & shoot with this bellows style camera much more safely & steadily....the blurred images you mention are not so much caused by mirror movement but more likely by hand movement which can virtually be eliminated with an L grip.

Thank you but I sold the RZ already !
Anyone know where I can purchase another recently had to return the one I did purchase cause lens was broken 😭
After loading the film, I'd put my dark slide on the pocket of film back and it stays there until 10 exposures done. Don't really need the dark slide unless we change film back mid roll. Nice video.

@@JesseJosephh There's a darkslide holder on the film back. Dont put it in your back pocket, you might bend it or lose it! I had a mamiya for a long time! just sold it.
damn dude !! just how many cameras do you have ? what do you do for a living ? hahah

Hahaha, freelance photography and videography. I usually get cameras from auctions and estate sales. There’s always great deal to find!
At 2:24, do you mean it's not a mechanical camera as it operates on batteries?

It doesn’t operate without batteries

You can shoot without batteries but, only at 1/400th of a second.
Why did you take the portrait in landscape orientation? Where is Fairmount?
