Good point. They drive around the suburbs in jeeps that are totally enclosed but when they are around lions ,and tigers they make sure they have no roof on their vehicle. I would like to see some of them eaten. Maybe they will get a clue. But I doubt it.

@Seasexnsun I was referring to the resolution of this particular footage, which I believe to be below current BBC Nature standards. And I guess I'm stupid, because I've been near plenty of "large predatory animals" in vehicles without roof or windows...and sometimes without doors. Always in the company of local rangers/guides able to analyze the animals' moods, etc. I'd post some relevant personal footage here (lions in Botswana and Namibia, tigers in India, giant otters in the Pantanal) but can't be done.

@Seasexnsun You rely on your guides, drivers, and rangers...most of whom are all local people. They live in the environment, they live with and know the animals. If you don't trust them to make the correct decisions, you shouldn't go to those places.

You don't move quickly around a large predator like that or you will look like fleeing prey causing the leopard to charge. Holding still was a better option than sprinting for the driver seat and hoping you can start it and drive away in time. It's hilarious how random commenters on youtube think they know better than the people who study these animals for a living.

Fan 2 Fics , there aren't any tigers in Africa, so the honey badgers there are most threatened by leopards, and to a bit lesser degree, lions. But I'd think where there's tigers & honey badgers in the same area, Tigers would be the same threat as lions.

@@fan2fics389 pound for pound, no. Leopards are incredibly strong for their size. They carry their kills up trees as if you or I had a back pack on. You do not want to mess with that kitty cat!! Check out Kevin Richardson's KZread channel, it's awesome. Conservationist/Expert in big cats, particularly lions. They call him the "Lion Whisperer" 🦁

I went to the Philly Zoo(Excellent) and asked one of the the keepers which big cat worried her most and she said the leopard because of temperament and agility. I noticed mesh over the exhibit, she said you can’t take any chances with them. Amazing predators!
