Film Acting | The Godfather: Finding the Through Line of the Character (Episode Four)

Фильм және анимация

Director and actor Robert Castle of International Theatre New York explores how an actor can discover the through-line of a character, focusing on the work of Al Pacino as Michael Corleone in The Godfather.
In this section we find Michael Corleone after he's turned a major corner in his life. Hiding from the law in Sicily, we see him at the height of his personal power-only to begin his profound descent into becoming the new Godfather. Francis Ford Coppola uses the beautiful, sweeping expanse of the mountains of Sicily to accentuate the change in Michael, showing him utterly relaxed, intense, and self-possessed in the land of his origin.
