When Two Sox appears in Dances With Wolves, well it's just all over for me. The music Barry wrote always has been moving to me but that scene leaves me in tears every time. Yes, I am a dog worshipper but that music he wrote is coming from somewhere that is so far away yet so close to the heart. That makes no sense I know. I'm sorry. All the best.

Barry definitely set the tone all the way back from then to what remains the James Bond music thematic. Was lovely the acknowledgement by Zimmer inn the inclusion of We Have Ask The Time In The World snippet in the first opening sequence of No Time To Die.

Just looking at the tiny James Bond portion of his oeuvre I believe two of the best Bond titles have been composed by him: Goldfinger (Shirley Bassey) and All Time High (Rita Coolidge).

I so agree with you on that...it is an underrated masterpiece and you can just tell from listening to it that Chaplin was a tortured/tormented soul...god bless him...

Thanks for the post. I'm in the mood for some John Barry whilst I get the house decorated (varnishing) for Christmas. Hopefully there will be some of those films on this December to brighten the days up.
