My Sea Star system has no fill fitting on the top of the helm out in the open, I have 2 on the underside, tried the lower and never got any air bubbles back at the helm tube, took very little fluid and saw plenty of bubbles back at the motor, I did not pierce the bottle. Needless to say it only kind of worked because I was cracking the fittings at the rear to get some air out. I have yet to see a video with No fitting on the helm side at the top, just the pair on the underside, mine is a tilt btw.??????

Good morning Sir, Usually, you have a filler cap like we do at LS. It may be behind the transom, depending on the model. For filling, we use a funnel in our tutorial, but I think you can use your oil can and pierce it. I think the best thing to do is to contact SEASTAR and ask them for an instruction manual adapted to their direction. Best regards.
Please make a stab at the US/NA market at put those scum bags at seastar into bankruptcy and hopefully prison
