My father-in-law used to make those placemats with his old Christmas cards. Clear contact paper is what he used to bond them together. Great memories! He was from Pennsylvania too.
Arthur Court is made of sand-cast aluminum, hand-finished and buffed to a luminous shine that never needs polishing. Macy's & Dillard's department stores carry it. It rarely goes on sale!
Omg, I think you found a set of placemats my Mom made in Orlando back in 1983-4! I also found one for 1.99 at my local thrifty here in W-B, with the same contac paper she had used. I assume she sent sets to family up in PA that Christmas, as all the ladies did back then: sending their recent crafts to each other and they're just now being donated. She made them for months for her church in Orlando, asking the congregation for card donations. She sold each for $1, sold out at the bazaar, and made the church a bundle!
Cooking, and baking come with practice. Like most things, "practice makes perfect ". Purchase an old Fannie Farmer cookbook.
That pottery with the blue goat was beautiful... ❤🐐
I will never go through Goodwill the same way again! Your knowledge has changed my experience ! Everything i look at, I think about what I've learned from you!

Love the video! You should have snagged that Fisher Price map for your kids! They barely teach geography in schools anymore. That would have been a fun learning tool. They could quiz each other and make it a game.😁😁😁
Watching reruns ( for me) while I am sick loved that wood tray. That angel was saying “ I love you” in sign language.. too bad her flowers were broken.
Oh! I want that “rain catcher” piece you spotted! It would be used as a beautiful propagation station for my plant cuttings.

Cute idea! I was thinking how easy it would be to get some paper clay and rebuild the corner and paint to match. 🤷♀️
The painted wooden spoons are vintage khokholoma art indicative to specific regions of russia/USSR. Very rare to find in a goodwill and can and will bring a high dollar. One spoon alone can fetch upward of $50. Go back and get them!

Really? I feel like I see those pieces so often when I'm shopping!
I adore you. You are bringing me such joy when I am locked down in LA and can't go to the thrift store. Thank you you are a delight.
You should’ve picked up that a hand bag that was made out of I don’t know magazines I got one that is made out of candy wrappers I paid $65 for it brand new and I had a lady that wanted to give me $100 for it that is an art
I am sure that you do very little that people try to make you do. I am glad that you have an independent spirit.
Those Christmas card placemats brought back memories of my Grandma’s house at Christmas time. So nostalgic to me!
The silver horse dish is nice!
The "Rock On" girl is saying, "I love you" My daughter is hearing impaired.
K's Collection is The Dollar Store brand.
“Carnage” on the shelves...🤣😂🤣😂
Arthur Court makes amazing pieces Many are horses 🐎 and nature inspired That was a great find and price
I like the iris vase!
That looks like the ASL I love you sign that the Angel had.
I have had such good luck with the Teleflora Vases. Some of them are beautiful and a lot of people like them:)

When my kids were younger, I would pick them up at thrift stores throughout the year, and then on May 1st we would make flower arrangements with them, leave them on our neighbors' porches, ring their doorbells, and run.
that little house with the broken roof would be so cute in a fairy garden!
Some Arthur Court has very good resale value. It depends on the piece and of course condition.
I'm so pleased you picked those mugs up second time round. I was shouting at the screen, 'The mugs, Jocelyn, the mugs'! lol. They are gorgeous! ✌💞
Arthur Court is a nice brand-I live in the South , so maybe it's just a thing here-but I always like to find it here!

Yes. Popular serving dishes sold at Dillard's!
Nice haul. Glad you rescued those placemats. 🎄🤓🎄 I still love Christmas cards 💖
You bought pier one???? 🙀. Someplace is feeling mighty cold right now. 👹
The glass vase with the bird is to put plant cuttings in to root. There is all kinds of these rooters lol
Great haul, thanks for letting all of us go along. We learn so much from you.
I love nearly all your purchases today. Iris is one of my favourite flowers. Love your videos x
Oooh yay! Can’t wait to see what goodies you find today! Your videos absolutely make my day❤️
Love the owl planter. He is so unique 🙂 I have a few of those Christmas card placemats. My mom and aunt made them. ❤️
3:13 That's not the "Rock on" hand symbol silly. Her thumb is out. It's the "I love you" sign language sign.
What a great idea to turn the Christmas cards into placemats! 👍🏽 I have so many from throughout the years... I'm going to do that!
Get the bag , popular in the 1970-1980 s. There’s another bag that looks like a folded over magazine it’s hard shell. So cool , wish I’d had one back then.
Love the colored art glass vase!! Can't wait until you list it!
Those Stonewear plates are amazing!!! I love the color and the design, I have never seen that combination before!♥️♥️♥️♥️
Arthur Court sells very well what a nice find! I for one love it! Most of the pieces retail for a pretty penny! I remember Jeffrey finding a piece of Arthur Court last year, It was beautiful too!
Thanks for taking us along
We would make our gift tags from the previous year's cards on Christmas gifts when I was young. I didn't know they sold tags and my mom used it as a way to save a little money and have a little fun cutting tags outof the cards. I had no idea we were poor.
Arthur Court pewter is worth quite a bit of money. It is not cheap to purchase.

The plate she picked up, I've seen listed $20 and upward. It's not pewter, but cast aluminium. I keep watching her pass mid century pieces that would sell really well. I find her a bit over-critical of some of the foreign made pieces, especially when there is some age to them.. she seems to dismiss them rather quickly. That being said, I was able to tell a friend that she found Hazel Atlas punch cups... because when I searched the item for her, that name came up and I vaguely recalled CLL talking about Hazel Atlas.
Wow what great items you found. I would love to one day travel up to your area to check out all those great goodwill and thrift stores. Here in jacksonville, florida they don't seem to have great items. Not an eBay seller but I still love to shop.
13:00 How funny - I have that "meal without wine" sign for sale in my bricks and mortar shop in the UK!
Love the horse tray you found. Would have absolutely loved to get that as a gift when I was 7. Would even love to get it now!
Oh My goodness. I just had flashbacks to my childhood. I had that Fisher Price Discovery Map growing up. I loved that thing.
Arthur Court was very popular in the 90’s; very ornate and beautiful aluminum serve ware. Was sold in high end stores. I always wanted to start a collection of his items, but never did. Gorgeous stuff.
My great uncle used to make those Christmas card placement, memories. It kept him busy since he was wheel chair bound when he got older.
The Christmas placemats are awesome
The angle has an I Love you sign in sign language, rock on is just pointer and pinkie fingers…
Portmerion candlestick thru the top shelf behind the brown tesin angel 11:41
The pink teacup near the beginning is a Johnson brothers British Castles cup. My friend has her grandmothers set and I’ve added to it over the years.
I love those plates that you got for yourself. They remind me of more expensive makers, like Denby or Arabia Finland. Mikasa also has some patterns that look really similar.
Those Christmas card placemats are a cool idea! I always cut the front off cards and used them as gift tags instead of buying the sticker ones.
Omg I loved those glasses you thought were Libby’s on the bottom shelf 🙈
The mugs are HARTSTONE!! Happy shopping!
Ahhh! I had that map when I was younger!!
I'm so glad that you got those Christmas card placemats! What a treasure!
Candle stick lamp behind that was Portmeirion!
My daughter took me to the Goodwill today. I thought of you! Bought a black purse and a nice blouse for myself. Spent $11.00. They had tons of Christmas things but I have so much already I didn't even look at them because I know I would have bought something! I liked that idea of making place mats out of old Christmas cards.
Your voice overs crack me up! 🤣👍❤️
Liked all the postcard plate mats Thank you for sharing Shalom
I love the vintage Christmas card placemats!
Thank you so much. I am learning so much.
Love the Christmas cards placemats. ✨
I loved our states maps when I was little. And then I was really good at geography when it came to middle school. You might go back and get it for your kids. PS I love me a good mug.
Ahh! I want that toy map thing! So awesome!
I love those christmas card placemats! Never seen anything like that before. Very unique!

Can you show us your stocked booth?
You got many good stuff thanks for sharing.
the vase with purple flowers is beautiful
Yes it is a good brand. Arthur court!!!! $20 and up.
Heck. I know a 68 year old who loves horses. But I've been told I'm too old to play with huge animals. Something about a Bernese Mt. dog knocking me over with his hip.
Your goodwills are the best! I’m officially jealous.
Oh, if your dad was a pastor, you were probably in the Christmas each year. I loved that part of Christmas as a child. When grandparents, aunts and uncles, and parents pass away it seems that Holidays are a bit sad.
There's that ash tray again, near the to Maggie Love Donna box. My mother once had one.
That purse was awesome
Brown dutch mug is burley winter
Arthour Court Yes!
That angel is making the ASL sign for I love you....not rock on.
The blue spatterware pig bowl that you saw at Goodwill and the others that you received are Molly Dallas Pottery located in Ohio. They are signed on the bottom. We sold this in our former brick and mortar gift shop and it was very collectible. It sold on Ebay and Etsy. She has a Facebook page.
I find all sorts of pretty art glass, if it’s name brand GREAT! Otherwise I just get them when cheap enough and of course if they’re pretty 😍 I also LOVE your goat piece ! That was so cool!
Oh wow!!!! Just watched this episode, 13.22 minutes in, and you spotted an art pottery vase (you said it was massive, so you didn’t grab it). It had an orchid showing and an open braided part below the orchid. Done in off white, pinks and greens. I went to an art gallery opening and I bought a larger version and paid $250 for it. Don’t remember if mine is signed and can’t check as it’s in storage, but this vase sure looks like it was made by the same artist. Too late now probably, but definitely worth picking up. I want it! 😜
The "my kids have big heads" thing made me laugh, you were so dead pan serious, you made me spit my coffee out! Thank you for the laugh!
I was just wondering if you will be listing that advent candle holder you picked up a while ago. Husband is starting a new mission church and we could use it if you think it is big enough for a church to use. Love watching you daily and wonder how you keep up with that schedule. Don't overdo!! Enjoy your holiday with family. Blessings and Love. Karen
That yellow Nelson sprinkler is good for resale.
I love that colorful small clear chinese vase OOo
I so would've bought the what looked to be vintage crewel work cross off tops! But that's just the ol' hippie in me talkin!😊
The Santa mug is great I have two of them one in green and one in red. Great for Xmas
Just found your channel, your great ,can’t stop watching, even told my sister about you lv Ann uk xx

Aww! Thank-you. ☺️
I am not sure about resale value, but Arthur Court Home Decor has been around about 40 to 50 years. It is sold in home parties by hostesses. Many young brides would have a party given in their honor back in the 90's and 2000's. Many beautiful pieces. Really love your videos and look forward to them each morning! Sherry from Alabama.
Tammy, great memories of Christmas.
I love the little goat!
Really great pieces!!
If you can repair a lamp you can cook. Get one of the food delivery/recipe things once a week. They have super easy instructions. Honestly not hard. A good example for the kids and they can help!
Love the map!
That angel was deflowered literally!!!.

Happy you bought the plates for your own use. You were threading to buy a set at Target. Knew you could source something more interesting for home use. When you get bored with them, you can source something else interesting!
