That is just paradise. Takes a lot of hard work & money to achieve this level of gardening. Even buying a packet of seeds is ridiculously expensive.

Oh yes just been to our Garden show, in Oz, did manage to buy 2 varieties of Orange tulips...thank you I will do more of this, rewarding and hopefully a great display.

I've got two main problems with plants in pots, namely: 1. the pots are often heavy and moving them around is a back-breaking job, 2.the pots require regular watering but I try to minimise the amount of water I use in the garden. I never use tap water, I have water butts to harvest rain water but I have to use it sparingly anyway. This year I have reduced the number of pots with tulips, pelargoniums and roses to just about a dozen. I haven't got any help in the garden.

You can pick up used terracotta pots cheaply. Even new ones are not that expensive.

@@katie8325 Here where I live terra cotta pots are very expensive. And I rarely see used ones in flea markets.
