I see so many Filipinos making comments about how friendly they are and this is just their custom. I have to agree that Filipinos are some of the best people in the world with their friendliness. I can't wait to get back early next year.

This why I keep going back to the Philippines, best, friendliest, people anywhere!

This is true based on my experience, we're walking on the beach and these families waved at us using a plate and thought we've done something illegal. Skeptic, but we went ahead and they gave us plate immediately to eat. They're fun to be around.

It's normal for the Filipinos to invite a person, whomever it is, to eat with them when they're eating; even if they don't know who you are or where you're coming from, that's part of Filipino culture and hospitality. That’s what I’ve noticed! I love the hospitality!

This shows what I think can't be reproduced anywhere else. The warmth and pure happiness of Filipinos to a stranger.

They get so giggly around foreigners specially. They’re not mocking you or making fun of you, Filipinos are just generally happy . If you notice women get so giggly coz they just want to tease one another so much . Whenever Filipinos have food they always like to invite people to be hospitable . When I first came to the States I have to get use to Americans eating in front of you and never inviting you to eat or share their food . Thank you for being so flexible and willing to learn the culture. It’s awesome that You’re learning a lot of Filipino words now👍

That's the nature of the Filipinos whenever we have a visitor we make sure that we feed them , and we offer whatever food we have , we don't let go of our visitors without eating even a just a bit.

food is the love language for Filipinos... that is why they immediately invite you to eat even if they know you are not hungry.

I'm a Filipino here in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao. When i was young, i rented a bedspace near University of Bohol just to stay for a week to explore the island. And i end up staying there for more than a month and enjoying my stay in Bohol alone. The simplicity of the people matches the glamorous beaches. Thank you, Jonathan. Enjoy. Filipinos get crazy if they know you are single 'coz Filipinos loves to be in company always. But not all. I am single, too and enjoying it.

I would say bisayan are the funniest of all the filipinos hahaha

Always remember that the property of private resorts don't extend up to the shore. Remember that in Boracay, a lot of buildings were demolished because they breached the required 25 meters setback from the shore. So you don't need to ask if the shore is owned by private properties. They don't own those shores much more if the shore is continuous. There will be no private shore and public shore in a continuous shore. All of them are public shore.

Nobody has the right to own thesee natural resources like beaches, rivers and the likes. It belongs and every individual has a right to enjoy. Can you imagine if you jave to pay just to swim at the river or ocean. Their property is the resort not these..

True. We laugh bcoz we are shy to talk to stranger, laughing bcoz we might say wrong word or grammar. We laugh bcoz were happy and kilig especially if the Foreigner is handsome and cute. U will see in their face they are happy. Don't be offended. If we are angry we will not invite stranger. Just be friendly to our locals and enjoy hospitality of the Pinoy.

According to Article 51 of the Water Code of the Philippines, shores of seas within a zone of three meters in urban areas, 20 meters in agricultural areas, and 40 meters in forest areas are subject to public use. So that means you can walk on the beach near the private property and even swim there.

Don't mind that basher here. For me, i support foreign vloggers because they help promote PH tourism, and tourism brings in a lot of money to the country, especially foreign tourists. So just continue to do your best in promoting PH to the world. That's the best thing you can do for our country.

I haven't experienced another culture that just invites me over and just shares food with a stranger like this. It's different here!

Filipinos i guess most of us are giving people even the only food their mouth could take they will share it or give it to someone who needed it most.ive came across lots of people of different races i would say i am extremely proud of my race if there is such a thing as 2nd life i wanna be pinoy again and again ....in a ❤ beat

Don't be offended if teasing u to single women bcoz u are also single. It's Part of our culture teasing and fairing to single but it's only for fun not serious so don't be scared. Having a partner we take it seriously and carefully. because we don't have divorce in the Philippines.

Now you know how Filipino culture works. If you visit the place, they will offer you too eat food even if you're extremely full. You're obliged to accept it. Also, they're laughing just because they're happy and teasing each other.

Jonathan, so glad you’re in the Visayan region and Bohol and you speak Visayan cebuano. Filipinos are just crazy when it comes to fun. They love to joke. Laughing because they’re happy having you. And oh feeding is part of our culture. We feel happy that we shared. 👍😊

When we filipinos giggle and laugh so much when approached by foreigners it's because although we can understand and speak english, most of us are not comfortable in speaking in English or to be heard by our friends and family talking in a foreign language, so we tease each other or anyone who will talk to the foreigner first. But because we naturally love accomodating and welcoming foreigners you will notice that at although at first we are a bit shy, that is why there's giggles, as we get comfortable, the more we talk to you.

This is one of your best videos. You captured the open friendly nature of Philipinos. Your choice of location is great. You should snorkle or dive the North side of where you are. Try Napaling Reef 👍... Perhaps I will see you sometime in the future. Keep up the great work... Beaches are mostly open for passing through... But not on Mactan in Cebu.

This is the 1st video I watched of you. Wasnt sure if I'd like but I continued to watch. After watching many of your travels & adventures I'm now a fan!!! Recommending Travel Escapes to fam & friends BECAUSE you still "go off the beaten path" and converse with locals. Too many KZreadrs go to the "tourist-y" places. My guy, you are perfectly in the right time to be in Bohol. If you have plans to get out of Bohol before May, you may want to cancel it as Bohol will have multiple festival through out the month of May. One of the biggest is the Sandugo festival. Literally the entire May, every part of Bohol will have their own Fiestas and celebration and the best part of it is that you are very welcome to go at any house and you can eat. I only experience it once, and it was one of the best fiestas in Philippines. I had multiple lechon in just one day during my time when I went there. It was awesome. Hope you finally experience it!
