If you are looking for someone to build your house you should ask James (from My PI Dream Channel) who has been vlogging quite a few house contractions owned by foreigners in the Philippines. Of all the constructions they have used same construction company were the owner has US experience in high quality and safety finish.

can you blame tom for thinking of others, he is reminded everyday that he can be kind, another big reason i subscribed. they say to surround yourself with the people that will make you better and what better place to start than with the kito family!

In my humble opinion I think having a bit of land will be ideal. You can plant all vegetables and fruits you like to be self sufficient especially now a days the prices of vegetables and fruits are sky-rocketing .

Kito family you need a huge lot to build a house and have a mini farm guys its the best to be able for you to have a vegie garden and for the kids to play around and avery good investment too good luck we love you...

Hi, Kito fam, Tagaytay is close to my hometown, just a 1.5hr drive. We usually go there to escape the very warm weather during summer and when there's a schedule blackout. 😁 Your vlog brought so much memories, and it makes me miss the Philippines and my family.. my family and I migrated to the UK in 2019 and we haven't returned yet..but I hope to see you there soon.. thank you so much ❤️ ingat po!

Hi kito family, scouting for an area consider where you can access easily all your basic needs like groceries, hospital , church or social activities for family & kids . South of Manila like Cavite or Laguna can get you to makati easy straight to Slex. Going north does not make it easier. Also in the Philippines seriously consider who the developers are because it matters in looking for the future appreciation value of your house if you decide to sell later.

Silang Cavite, Nuvali, Tagaytay are prime locations if u haven't seen the latest developments hence the land value even the condos has been appreciating tremendously every year and are mostly high end, it's a beautiful place since I'm from South. It's one of the best places to invest in the Philippines aside from BGC and Makati since this are tourist destinations/around tourist destinations like White Sand Beaches, Enchanted Kingdom, Tagaytay City.

I love the second house/resort It looks like province vibe. But if Tom want to plants some veggies dapat may magandang sikat ng araw 😁. And I know momskie will also enjoy planting veggies in the future. Bahay kubo (modernize version, with lots of veggies around)😁 Good luck to your new and forever home here in the Philippines.

Its very nice place. And I think the soil is very healthy, its good to plant veges. and the view is really beautiful.

you have to check out crosswinds and highlands as well, all in tagaytay. these look like switzerland

Myself and my Filipino wife have just finished building our house in Tagaytay very close to Twin Lakes and will be moving there from Iceland in June. Personally I love the area , hope you decide to finally move there, it has so much to offer.

Been to Twin Lakes roadside commercial area overlooking the hotel below. The views there are epic. Lots of restaurants too and even a 7-11 and a Robinson's grocery. And a Starbucks too. It has actually become my favorite place in Tagaytay. :)

Love Tagaytay area! Used to live there before moving in the US! I would go back and retire in Tagaytay! Buying a land there is a good investment. Try to buy a bigger land and develop it as you would want it.

Love the vlog guys!!! I love property/house hunting! The are looks really pretty and that resort-like property is exactly my idea of property for when families and friends come to visit from abroad. If you get a hectare of land you can totally do all the veggie garden you like and create your own oasis and a resort-like property. So cool! I love Tagaytay. Also, check out Rizal & Tanay even Quezon Province if you want those beautiful mountain views!

Tagaytay area is the best place to buy a house and lot because its a cool place and near Manila compared to Baguio. Just choose the best location and the best price .

Tom , Kim you can save more if you purchase the house by just some renovations instead on a new one. Tom , you had a passion in planting , if the other side of the lot is for sale try to buy it too. 10 - 15 years from now the value of that lot will either be doubled price a very good investment. Lastly , neighbors seems to know each other a good sign of safety , accessible in transportation and convenience.

But one thing you have to prepare for is the earthquake every now and then. I still get nervous when I feel that my chair shaking only to find out my husband is pranking me cos he knows I have ptsd from all the earthquake back in the Phil. You should also visit Highlands Tagaytay, it's like being in another country.

You should try their other resto. It's down the road, a place called Balay Dako. Food's great and the view is stunning!

Pinewoods Subdivision in Baguio i'm curious about the land prices and Houses. No offense to Tagaytay, but its just too close to a volcano.

You should see a farm if you want a provincial life where you could plant and raise farm animals and build your house there.

You should buy a big land then transform it to ah farm raise chicken plant all kinds of vegetable and build a simple house

There are many positives to Tagaytay but also so many negatives. The traffic on a week end & holidays but if you know the back roads it’s manageable but with all the new bypass roads it’s getting better. There are also many Montessori schools which I know you like. Go to Santi’s for your smoked salmon, the one on the Tagaytay to Silang road have a good menu if you want to eat while you shop in the deli.

The traffic in Tagaytay is crazy!!! Especially on weekends and holidays! Silang is a better choice for me.

If you want a cold weather, try Baguio city

Antonios is my favorite a little bit pricey but the food is good,

Hope that you two will be very careful with the people who you deal with. Check the properties' documents given to you by the agents at the city hall' s register of deeds covering the property. There are so many scammers in the philippines. Good luck to your property hunting and always keep safe.

Tagaytay and Silang are good areas

that house would have been perfect if the kitchen has windows and for me antipolo and the rizal areas is still the best because you don't need to pay for tolls when you go in and out of the city.

Its Silang, Cavite...not the other way around.

If i were you .. you pick place that has fresh air and not so mainit/hot place .. coz the weather in summer here in Manila is really hot... Kawawa naman the kids... March to May is the Summer so i prefer tagaytay for you kito fam to live.. :)

That area around twin lake is booming and we have a raw land that is for sale about 5 mins only from splendido. If you are interested just drop me a message.
