Hospitality is one of the Filipino qualities no matter how small the house you are welcome and the strong family ties in one house too many families it's ok with them as long as they have a roof over their head though they are poor but happy. That is how Filipinos valued family. 😊🇵🇭🇵🇭

That was very generous of you. I really appreciate how open-minded you have been throughout this video. This is the type of video not normally shown by vloggers, but it is the reality behind the poverty that surrounds the Metro Manila area. I grew up in the Philippines and I had relatives who lived in this type of area. They were very generous by sharing what they had whenever we would come for visits. And yes, everyone is super friendly, no matter their circumstance.

Ali, I like that you go and see the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Philippines. You go into the poor people’s houses with no reservations. You’re a good man. Those kids are following you because seeing a foreigner is a novelty especially someone who doesn’t look down on them but, in fact, enjoy being with them. God bless you, Ali! -Ava

I was holding my breath when you entered those dark and small alleys in Tondo because it can be really uncomfortable, I am a Filipino and I wouldn't even dare go there. But that is so brave of you to venture your way deep into the alleys and Thank you for helping out a struggling family and thank you for setting up a paypal account just for the purpose of your charity foundation dedicated to helping out struggling people. By the way, you can try to set up a G-cash account because most Filipinos have G-cash, rich or poor. Paypal isn't popular in Philippines but G-cash is :-)

im filipino from mindanao most of my close friend in manila they are from tondo. they are friendly and jolly people.

Ali is so brave to roam around the slums of Tondo area. Just be careful. Research about the area, some are friendly and some are not too friendly but Filipinos are naturally good happy people no matter what their living condition is. Good of you Ali doing charitable causes for unfortunate people. You have a good heart.

From basketball kids to construction workers introducing and inviting you in their own business shows how friendly they are

In philippine provinces especially in small sitios when there are celebration, everybody are invited to come and eat in their house no matter if the know you or not. That is customary so don’tbe surprised if they invite you. It does not meant you are special. It’s just one of filipino customs. These custome are practiced year in and year out.

It's hard too see how people live in those small room houses. Life is tough, man but surviving in every suitation that's what make us great.
