I’ve been down for a while. We have 2 beautiful babies, we were expecting a third but the doctor said he doesn’t hear a heartbeat. I’m hurt af. I try to play it off but it’s killing me. I don’t know how to communicate my feelings or how to comfort my wife. Emotions wasn’t really something we as Polys really dealt with. Anytime we showed emotion, everyone portrayed it as weakness. I know I have to be strong for my wife. My daughter is 9 and she knows there’s something wrong, but I’m scare to tell her what happened. I think my wife is on the same page as me, to never tell our kids. It’s not something I want them to carry with them. All I know is when I came across this song, I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I’ll never let my wife and kids see me in this state, but fuck man. I just want to drink this pain away. This is all I have. The only reason I’m alive…is my wife and kids. If it weren’t for them, I’d ended long ago.
