This yearly event offers a top-level competition to the best-ranked teams not participating in the FIH Hockey Pro League and give the winning team the option to be promoted to the FIH Hockey Pro League the next season, precisely. Therefore, the FIH Hockey Nations Cup provides a promotion-relegation principle for the FIH Hockey Pro League, with the winning team of the first FIH Hockey Nations Cup having the chance to be promoted to the 2024-25 FIH Hockey Pro League.
The FIH Hockey Nations Cup promises to produce the most intense and exciting hockey moments. FIH Hockey Nations Cup is all about skill and determination. It sets the stage for players to show their heart, desire, and lead their teams to the top.
The 2023-24 Men's FIH Hockey Nations Cup was the second edition of the Men's FIH Hockey Nations Cup, the annual qualification tournament for the Men's FIH Pro League organised by the International Hockey Federation. The tournament was held from 31 May to 9 June 2024 at Gniezno, Poland.
Congratulations to New Zealand on winning the second edition of the FIH Nations Cup and earning promotion back to the FIH Pro League for the 2024/25 season.

Thank you 🤣 FIH's highlights has been shocking for a while now and we try our best to make up for it The hockey at the Nations Cup was great and it was great so see so many fans for a "non hockey" country like Poland, but there was quite a few disappointments surrounding some technical aspects of the tournament.

Pakistan so far in 2024 has been amazing. They are definitely improving day by day, but it might take a while for them to be back at the very top of the game.
