I don't think this program will ever be topped. It's art on ice. Impeccably beautiful and I don't think any other woman could repeat this and top it. The lines of her body are perfection. The most beautiful skater I've ever seen in my life

I agree that doping won't make you more flexible or more expressive. And doping isn't either a magic potion that will make you succeed every jump. But the fact is that according the rules, she shouldn't have been there, because she took another's place. The doping is about Russians Nationals, the competition which decides who is going to the Olympics. Even without doping, no one can tell she wouldn't have won. But since she did, she went against the rules. And someone who violated the rules shouldn't have gone to the Olympics. That doesn't mean that the world should not see her and be amazed, but not in these conditions. Liza deserved to be there.

@@luceafarul579 the same « minor protection rules » that will penalize hundreds of girls’s careers once the ISU rule change will be in place next year. The rule made because of Valieva. Being a minor isn’t an excuse. 3 months later, she would have been 16. It’s totally unfair for the athletes who did nothing (Liza for example). Rules were blurry because the positive sample reveal came up in the middle of the Olympics. Kamila was already there, and the team event was already over. If you compete in senior, you should be able to submit to the rules that come with. If she’s not penalized, it’s because someone else has to be. Who ? Her doctor ? Her coaches ? Her family ? Yeah, all those persons are in the aim of the WADA. But no one can really tell who is the origin. So what, she should stay unpunished ? That wouldn’t be fair for Sasha, who technically won the Rusnats, Anna who technically won the Euros, all the teams on the podium of the team events. In this affair everyone is making Kamila pass for the victim. But in the end, she is still competing as if nothing happened (the issue of the Olympic team event isnt’ even resolved dammit). And while she’s still competing and paying no attention around her, the first ones concerned by all this scandal are her fellow Russian teammates and other young international skaters, who will barely have a chance to get in senior, and even less an Olympic cycle (yeah, the worst thing about this is that Akatyeva, who just won Rusnats, won’t be eligible for the Olympics before 2030). Just because Kamila, a « protected person » did something against the rules and participated in one Olympics. So no, I won’t cry for her, I don’t consider her as a victim. My thoughts go to all those skaters, those robbed of a medal, and those (MINORS, even younger than Kamila) suddenly robbed of a senior career they were preparing since their earliest age. NEVER Kamila had ONE compassion word for them. Instead she got close with a certain Russian dirigeant. So yeah, I won’t defend her. She doesn’t need to. All of this mess because she has been way enough protected.

I have a huuuuge problem with her prerotation honestly. She may have one of the best spins ever, but since she doped... you can't blame people for doubting her...besides, technically she took Liza's place. And i have a huge problem with how she handles the aftermath of the doping case, and her proximity with a certain someone.

I do not know how the story about doping will end! But there is no doping that would give such incredible beauty and grace! only skill and many hours of training and repetitions! dear Kami! I wish you to come out a winner and delight us with your programs for many more years! you are an ideal figure skater, there has never been a second one like this and there is not yet!

OMG This is the best Women's short program I've ever seen!!! Kamila nailed it. The whole choreography goes with the song so so well and it's just so amazing. And her body movement is so graced to watch. I just can't stop watching it again and again. THE BEST!!!!

Never seen a better skate. Such a talent! No one can come close.

Да и не было никакого допинга! Она на олимпиаду приехала чистая, они всё сдают, это обнаружено якобы в декабре. Просто решили убрать её,но не подумали, что у нас ещё две сильные фигуристки. Произошла трагедия в жизни Камиллы в таком раннем возрасте на пике славы. Просто взяли и сломали её!

Пересмотрела раз 100 и не перестану пересматривать! Поразительно, как 15-летний ребенок может касаться самых глубоких струн души… Камила навсегда вписала свое имя в историю!

Для меня она чемпионка. Это лучшее выступление что я видела. Это за гранью олимпийский игр

the contrast in the end between her powerful and energetic flourishes, and the slow, dying notes of the music - it is genius. and you can see in her face in the very end, as she looks up into the sky - you can see her utter passion, her love of the art and sport of figure skating.

This is just absolutely the best short program I’ve ever seen. The routine is just absolutely fabulous

And there was no prerotation. She went into those jumps on clean edges. Her leg and foot were in perfect position taking off. I looked closely at those jumps and they were great and clean. Sounds like someone here is jealous

The best figure skater of all time. Many people I know who weren't into FS before are following it now because of her. I guess that is what you call inspirational.

Politics should not pollute sports. Kamila's talent is unique and she should be respected and protected.We need to see the best figure skater appear in the international arena, which is conducive to the promotion of this sport.

Every time I watch it I cry, this is pure art, it touches your soul, we are more than just bodies; higher values like love for your dear ones and for others, care, compassion, kindness, selflessness what makes as humans! She is one of a kind, ballerina on ice🦋

@@Haha-fh6gp "smart guy", she was found doping a month before the Olympics, secondly, all the rules of sampling were violated there, so there is no reason to believe that she was not framed. thirdly, the drug and its quantity that was found in no way affects the physical condition.

This routine makes me feel on the ice, I never get tired to see her. The music, the choreography...the technique...

I think she’s a ballerina before she became an ice skater. Her leg extensions are exquisite, her hands are gentle and soft. Such a beautiful combination of artistry and technical. I’m not expert on how they scored this program but for me she’s amazing.

Камила не была балерина ,она занималась гимнастикой и фигурным катанием .Решила в последствии заниматься фигурным катанием ,а гимнастику оставить. Но с Камилой индивидуально занимается балерина мастер-класс у прима-балерины Большого театра Ольги Смирновой..

She has a beautiful balletic quality but she was definitely overscored technically and on skating skills as Russia rigs the system by buying judges. Her jumps are not actually as difficult and should be downgraded from triples to doubles in a lot of cases because she pre-rotates on the ice before she is in the air so technically she does not complete the full 3 revolutions and it goes ignored. She also doesn't have the best skating skills or composition for her program, which is why she only generates speeds from cross overs and there are just sooo many of them, that really her skating skills should not be as high as they are. And of course she was benefitting from heart medications that gave her extraordinary training ability and longevity that people who complete cleanly do not benefit from. Who knows if she would ever have been as successful without the drugs and now her whole skating is questionable and she is known as a doper even though her coaching team and the state of Russia did it to her.

Балерина на льду, и этим все сказано. Такие таланты рождаются что бы светить этому миру и нет оправдания тому, кто пытается эту девочку трогать! Она прекрасна, сама постановка, музыка, костюм, прическа и конечно же её неповторимая мимика. Она победитель в наших сердцах. В спорте не место политике.

This is the best short program i have ever seen in figure skating. Beautiful, mesmerizing and magical. I really want kamila to continue her skating after the ban lifts, kamila you will be in my prayers. I hope and pray that her comeback will be bigger and greatet than the setback.

Если был бы допинг , не не допустили до соревнования, ко всем результаты тестов пришли до соревнования, ее тест прислали во время . Все остальные тесты чистые . Травля СМИ,допросы без тренера и вообще старших , для 15 летний спортсменов запрещено. Мок специально нарушила свои правила!!! Такие как вы ведётесь на СМИ как маленькие дети . Дела других спортсменов шли быстро , без травли и шумихи . Очевидно что всё это запланированная акция !!!

She was doping, her jumps are awful, she does a million crossovers and the program is using the exact same choreography as last year to a different piece of music, so....NO...this is not the best FIGURE skating performance. You can say it is your favourite program you have seen but in no way is this great figure skating. She is a lovely balletic person but the actually figure skating is not happening

The calm meditative quality of the music combined with the exquisite lyrical expression and skills of the skater is simply riveting. I could watch this 100 times over and not be tired of it. It's almost inconceivable that one so talented is only 15 years of age. I only hope that she will stand the test of time, remain healthy and have a long career, so that we can continue to enjoy following this extraordinarily talented young lady on her skating journey.

I think she might have the chance to compete in the next olympic. Her physicality is not like the other Eteri’s girls. She got muscle and strength. Hopefully she picks up a scientifically healthy way to do those high jumps.

Она великолепна, даже сейчас полу шепотом чтобы не спугнуть птицу счастья , она бальзам на раненную душу она целитель.

She expressed the music so beautifully and subtly with great grace and charm. I felt part of the performance. Wonderful!

I always looked forward to watching Kamila skate. I loved it so much. But now, we can't watch her on the ice anymore. It makes me really sad. I started loving figure skating because of Kamila. There is no one like her, and there never will be.

Pure perfection… Ive never seen so much artistry, precision, flexibility and emotion in a SP as much as this one… Her technique, her lines, her spins… every move of hers is extended and flows through… She has become my all time favourite figure skater…. никакой допинг не даст такого катания, это талант и мастерство. Это дар природы, такая пластика, гибкость, красота.

the way she just so smoothly and effortlessly glides on the ice is angelic

im overwhelmed. she goes all into the music and reflect herself in the dance with all the skillful techniques, its amazing

As far as I've remembered, I've rooted for Kamila's Olympic win from the time she joined Eteri Tutberidze. Now, I watched this with my Mom, she said, everything was perfect. The way she skates with music, the jumps, the flexibility and the emotion is perfect. Come back strong Kamila, every performance of yours is a blessing and it makes people happy. 💖

Unfortunately, Camila was unsettled by this dirty story with allegedly doping, a harmless substance from a pharmacy that could have entered the body with another heart medicine! But even this microdose can't make an average figure skater start jumping ultra-si jumps, and perform complex elements with such ease and grace! The unthinkable is happening, Americans have unceremoniously started mixing sports with politics, as well as science, economics and even art!

@@ultrax2002 Even as an American, I think that the people who think that some "heart medicine" can make anyone skate how Kamila skated in this video is crazy haha. They can give that medicine to every other skater, and none of them will skate as well as Kamila did (medicine free) in this video.

Nothing is this beautiful…. Forever my all time iceskating performance. This is perfection 💜 Brings me so much joy to watch it ( everytime) A talent like this comes once in a lifetime.

Incredibly beautiful. The movements, spins, facial impressions, the music, all gives the feeling. Just perfect.

Я как-то еще ДО выхода Камилы в юниорки увидел девочку на шаре, так не мог оторваться. Подружка сидела рядом и говорит - я в фигурном катании вообще ничего не понимаю, но эту девочку ты мне включи еще раз. Это шедевр...

@@lillianscott4194 this are the things judges don’t care about. They don’t even have negative goe charts for that or marks. If they don’t care why do i have? It does not bother me at all. Her skating, arm and leg movements, musicality, accents bring me joy. It looks sincere and i’m in love with this program.

I just think the referees today just don't care about prerotation, full-blade, it's serious because it's a sports game, not just dance. Same problem, some people will be deducted points, but some won't. It's not fair. Kamila valieva is top level, yes, but her grades are often overscored, the truth.

Если через четыре года Камила будет участвовать в Олимпийских Играх, я буду за нее болеть всем сердцем. Очень хочу, чтобы Космическая Девочка победила и утерла нос всем подлым и мерзким завистникам. Если есть какой-то "допинг", который бы превращал людей в лебедей на льду, давайте всем миром его примем. Может, злости и ненависти будет меньше.

@Christina Scott You still didn't understand what it was. Well, is fine. When somebody is ahead of rest, s/he'll always be envied. Her fans don't need to find any excuses, because they know who she really is. And I'm glad of it, because now she receives huge love from them and skates mesmerizing as always and even better.

She does have talent. Kamila's performance is beautifully outstanding! I love the music and choreography... Everything worked so well and harmonious! It's so sad that this girl was unintentionally involved in the scandal. She does have talent and she has already shown it in The World Figure Skating Championships. She doesn't have a reason to be in this ridiculous scandal and be attacked by people's comments on her. Hope she would be stronger and keep going!

Bla bla bla...a lot of nonsense, I thought she was nice before...now I just think she's just a liar. She also has a fan club like yours who love to make excuses for her, lol. quads ? perfect? Irreplaceable? Yes, she has difficulty jumping, but please don't be full-blade, Pre is nearly 180...that way I wouldn't say she's "perfect". And you guys don't start bragging about how good her skills are when you mention doping, maybe Trimetazidine doesn't increase skating skills, but it has many uses. Go to the wiki and find out why it's a WADA banned list. Not sure? Then read her report. What year was it checked out. Maybe someone else wants to hurt her, maybe someone else thinks too much. But that has nothing to do with me, she's just a skater who violates athlete ethics. Why can't others be tested but she is the only one with the problem? The other Eteri girls didn't test out the problem, but she's the only one... 🤷‍♀️ Because she's special? Because she was wronged? Lamo, don't be so narcissistic. Other skaters don't matter? How many people were affected because of her?

Приняв допинг она в друг станет грациозной, лёгкой,гибкой? Ками не стала бы принимать запрещённые вещества, зная что впереди тест на допинг. Была бы она бездарной в лидеры бы не пробилась, все было ясно и до Олимпиады, Камила была главной претенденткой на золото, вот и все, решили сломать, раз уж победить не получится, ее подставили, а теперь пожалуйста хватит лезть с этими наиглупейшими комментами по типу, этот допинг лол, допинг, это из-за допинга, бездарная спортсменка и другими оскорблениями в сторону Камилы
