    Yah. She’s really setting a new standard for woman in her sport and raising the bar. Female figure skating has lagged behind, technically for over 25 years with women doing the same things and never leveling up like the men have . It’s refreshing to see a woman set the bar so high for other women

  • @kathrinlindern2697

    @kathrinlindern2697

    @@rentboy7566 Jumps are more difficult for female skaters because of biomechanics - wider hips and tendentially lower muscle density in the legs make jumping high and rotating fast enough for quads more difficult than for the men. That's one reason why so few "adult" female skaters do these jumps/do them consistently. We'll have to see if Sasha can keep her quads into her twenties - that would be seriously impressive.

    Who among other men can do 5-6 flawless quads though? There are other Russian women who can do quads too. It's funny watching some belittle Nathan as nothing special while propping up Sasha as being "the only one". She hasn't even done 5 quads consistently...and her artistry/SS lacks, truly, unlike the lies that get put out about Nathan. He may not do as many transitions as Yuzuru because he's doing much more difficult jumps but he's not doing any less than other skaters like Shoma or Yuma, and he certainly does more than skaters like Boyang. His step sequences and choreo sequences are also fantastic and unique. In fact, Nathan's caravan program was used by the ISU as an example of good music interpretation/PCS while Sasha's skating was used as an example of poor PCS judging.

    Scoring from ISU is a joke. They never follow the same standard. It’s meaningless to do such rank. Audience has eyes who has the best jump with minimum or even pre-rotation and straight axis and long height and distance and beautiful gesture
