Ripper's weapon is basically the jaws of life that firefighters/emergency workers use to rip open totaled cars to free people.

Gi Joe classified series is hasbros most consistently fantastic line.

Put General Hawk's smaller goggles on his head backward under his helmet. It makes the helmet fit on his head much better.

Tempt me not, foul toy demon! You almost got me into collecting this line. I was almost about to check prices on Amazon. I'm already collecting three lines. I don't need a 4th. Even if I wanted to invest the funds, I don't have the room. Stop!

Those are not dog tags they are razor blades on Ripper.

Classified is my main line. G.I. Joe has been my first love my entire life. I am so happy with how Hasbro has fleshed out Classified. The Retro Duke and Scarlett are two BIG BIG BIG WANTS for me. April cannot come soon enough. Both Retro Snake Eyes and Retro Storm Shadow were top figs from them for me this year. Absolutely awesome. Of these figures, Buzzer was the only one I felt was a let down. Something about the way the figure felt and posed was off to me. I did glue his glasses on, though. He isn’t bad, I just think he could have been better. I didn’t pick up Shockwave, I’m waiting for his Night Force version. Dark gray suit and cap with dark green vest and black balaclava is killer. He’ll go excellent with Wolf Spider (the first newly-created named character in Classified). The line is fantastic.

An awesome review, Shartimus. I have them but Helix. Definitely my second favorite Hasbro line to collect. So far i have 45 GI JOE Classified.

In G.I. Joe #1, there’s a SHOOTER on the console of Joe profiles, but their face is obscured by the tech’s arm. It was a nod to then editor in chief Jim Shooter, but in later iterations of G.I. Joe tells that she was a “secret” member of the Joe team as a fail-safe in case they couldn’t get Dr. Burkhart out safe, she was to take the Dr. out.

Yeah, he must of dropped them somewhere and never bothered to look for where they may have went. I forgot he was supposed to have shades. I was so focused on not losing Buzzer’s glasses that I just totally forgot about Ripper’s.

a solid multi fig review bro extra kudos for the file observation, comparisons and poses all very good figures indeed my perspective I m an early 82 adopter, back when Cobra was 3 figs, CC, officer, trooper nobody ever told me there d be more coming.... so the story is about Hawk vs Cobra Commander and teams you re right, quite a blunder to leave characters such as Hawk out in 84.... he was operating the mms mobile launcher, as leader and Hasbro introduced Duke for a while, totally ditching Hawk.... ...and when he came back as fig, he was nt blond anymore, but brown... so you re on bro, you know your business I live in a small place, broke, I m at 43/50+ figs about 10 x year 3 lines, joes, legends, indy have the figs in box up my pantry green led lighted 'hall of fame' style and 4 small glass lighted shelves with plants for scenes [3 - 8] figs I like to mix lines, Col Toth works for Cobra to get the arch, Cap America & Punisher want to stop this Indy and Elsa do research body guarded by retro ironman.... and change the scenes about 1 x month, to keep the atmosphere fresh & funny I m going for the 82 - 83 joe team, except Nunchuk, and want Shooter, [green camo?] essential Cobras, CC, Mindbender, Baroness, Stormy, Firefly, Scrap iron, and reg troops, vipers, bats very little superpowered characters or Indy s I almost had all 80s joes, things are different now, I just pick what s reasonable cheers for the dynasty people who can 'catch em all' lol I like it classy, and here, it can turn quickly looking like a flea market stand if I don t set limits so now you know... good show bro

4:57 1982-83 v1/1.5 Hawk does have the blond hair. The 1986 v2, which this is based upon, the figure had wavy brown hair.

Cover girl uses lady Jaye pants I think. But yup, gi Joe's team cares about their females, unless ML line. With black widow, I hope they do more like her in the near future.

I keep having this image in my mind of Hawk leading a fleet of Wolverine Tanks on the battle field against a fleet of HISS tanks, which is something I would love to recreate physically. I know it doesn't make sense for a General to be on the frontlines of Battle, but Oooh if I had the money and the space...

People don’t go crazy because classified figures are waaaaay better figures than legends. All the detail and accessories on classified compared to legends makes it harder to complain about pins
