Fig tree symbolism
Have you ever wondered about the symbolism of figs in the Bible? Have you ever wondered what does it matter? Does it matter? Why does Jesus referred to it in the New Testament? Why is it referred to so many times in the Old Testament? Well, I want to tell you, it does matter. It helps us to understand the stories that Jesus is trying to teach us. It helps us understand the situation that the Israelites were in in the Old Testament. So today I want to share with you what does the Bible say about figs? And I hope you enjoy this because I'm a net reader, the biblical nutritionists, and welcome to this channel on KZread and Facebook and all of these other platforms that we're sharing this because it is my desire to help you understand why God uses so many foods, symbols in scripture, why it matters, and why these foods are so healthy for you today.
Fig symbolism
All right, so today we're going to cover what does the Bible say about figs? Now, if you have other questions relating to this topic or other topics that you're saying, hey and net, can you cover this topic I've always wondered about? Then be sure and leave a comment down below. I Will Capture those comments and I will do a video or I'll just connect with you personally and answer your questions because as you know, I'm here about to help you be confident in your cooking there for confident in your health there for confident in your future and overall understanding of how much God loves you. Okay, so let's get started with what the Bible says about figs. Okay, so you need to understand the fig tree. Now, if you've never seen a fig tree, it's actually right here behind me. This is a fig tree that I planted two years ago.
Fig tree symbolism in the bible
Actually soon after I planted that first winter, it totally died away. I thought, okay, so much for that. I've lost my fig tree the next spring though the roots were still healthy and so new branches started to grow. And as you can see, it's looking pretty good here right now. And so we need to understand God gives us good gifts. In fact, if you've been following my teaching, you understand that in genesis the word good means excellent of its kind, valuable and estimation. That means everything God created is excellent. The food, the trees, the grass, the birds, and you, you are excellent of your kind of, don't let anyone ever tell you differently. Okay? So everything God created is good. That's important for us to understand. Okay? So when he gave Israel to the Jewish people, it was just an old piece of land. But then, yet God said in Deuteronomy eight he says, I'm bringing you into a good land, a good land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, Duh, thank tree.
Deuteronomy 8:8
So this land that God has taken the Israelites to has fig trees in it. It's one of the seven foods of the promised land. That's important. Now I've done other videos on figs and I've done other videos on the foods of the promised land, so I'll be sure and capture those videos. There is a link right up here at the top. You can capture those videos to even learn more. Okay, so look at this. So these are seven foods mentioned in Deuteronomy eight that are all going to be available for them when they get to the promised land. Now remember there's some people living in the promised land

When I hear Annette say that " I am excellent of my kind, do not let anybody put me down" , I say to myself:" that is it! That is what I need to hear! I am healed!" I think that all the problems we have in life stem from self condemnation, not feeling well about ourselves, from thinking that we are guilty, bad, shameful, not good enough. Religion, our loved ones, teachers, parents, adults etc...said the wrong things to us and we believed them. My father respected and put my 6 brothers on the pedestals and belittle his 5 daughters. He said that girls should go in the kitchen . He said that his sons bring honor to the family! And this hurt me all my life. Thanks to the love and healing of God, I am getting better. And watching this video, Annette confirms with us that women are not inferior to anybody. My four sisters are affected by my father looking down on women also, but I am the one who is most affected because I and my two little children lived with my parents for 13 years after I divorced my husband. I heard days in days out from my dad how successful my 6 brothers are! And my mom was not treated well by my dad either. They are deceased now. I forgive my dad. This channel of Annette is very healing, giving us faith, joy, hope and good health. Other health channels make us more worried, more afraid, especially with the scary pictures of sick people, heart attack, stroke etc... Thank you Annette. I hope you will get millions of subscribers.

I’ve been spending a lot of time building my relationship with God. Figs aren’t a common fruit you see in North Carolina but yesterday my mother said a phillipino lady gave them to her🥹 I felt so connected to God that it’s beyond explanation. So now I am watching videos about the figs and then reading the scriptures and stories in my Bibles

Thank you for this lesson! Our fig tree started out just like your tree. Now it takes up a 1/4 of our yard. This is the first year (out of about 15 years) that our tree suffered from a late freeze. We had to cut off quite a few branches. It is still strong. and has a tree full of figs that we will enjoy in about 4 -6 weeks. One thing about a fig tree, when the leave begin to form and 'bud' out, begin to water daily. Water is so very important while the figs are starting and up until it is time to harvest. Blessings on you new tree!

That’s funny you say that I just tried my first fig last summer at age 26 my uncle and aunt planted a fig tree and it neared so much fruit they couldn’t keep up! My aunt made me eat them daily, they’re so delicious and because of the biblical meaning I tasted what Jesus tasted! It was surreal! They’re in California and sadly I’m up northwest, won’t be able to visit this year but Jesus blessed my womb and now bearing “fruit” after prior losses. The fig fruit is now one of my favorite fruits even if I can’t eat them often 😍

Your message was very beautiful and I enjoyed learning about the Fig tree! However, I'd like to point out that while the Bible uses physical references, it is only to point out SPIRITUAL TRUTHS. Israel is not a "physical" nation, it is a "spiritual" one! There is only a remnant of the Jewish Nation (people) that is redeemed, the rest are walking in idolatry by rejecting Jesus Christ. Check out who John says numerous times is Anti-Christ. 2 John 1:7-11 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. John is warning us that if we receive ANY DOCTRINE other than the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST, we should not receive that into our house (our fleshly temple, our heart and our mind where we are SEALED to GOD)! We are warned that if we do, we are in danger of losing our reward! Also see what the book of revelation says about the Synagogue of Satan and those who say they are Jews but are not. Revelation 2:9 "I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and [I know] the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but [are] a synagogue of Satan. Revelation 3:9 "Indeed I will make [those] of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. And just in case I haven't warned fully enough about the "Leaven of the Pharisees", see who Jesus Christ himself says will be persecuting and killing Christians in the last days! Matthew 10:17 "But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. Matthew 23:34 "Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: [some] of them you will kill and crucify, and [some] of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, Mark 13:9 "But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. Luke 12:11 "Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. Luke 21:12 "But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute [you], delivering [you] up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. I am NOT anti-Semitic, I am however, anti-Synagogue of Satan!!! As far as I know, there is only one religion with a Synagogue! God Bless you for your message. I will watch more of your videos! Peace and Blessings to you through Jesus Christ!

The physical fig tree which JESUS cursed is symbolic and prophetic re: the impending destruction of the Mosaic law and Talmudic/Temple system in 70 A.D. because according to John the baptist, Israel wasn't "bearing fruits worthy of Repentance". Matthew 3:10 "And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire." Luke 13:6-9 JESUS tells the parable of the fig tree that for THREE YEARS (JESUS' earthly ministry) the Owner couldn't find any fruit so the husbandman says: ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’ ” Within THAT generation ( within 40 years) GOD did exactly that. It's a repeat scenario of the historic destruction of Solomon's temple by Nebuchadnezzar for exactly the same reasons- Israel's stubborn and unrepentant rejection of GOD.
