Never thought about it but if you research Jimmy Smith fightquest what happened. On his channel... same thing with Alex Richter I'm sure you'll find the results. I might do a search and post them under the description. Thanks for the tip

Just finished watching your clip, yes pretty sad they use race as an excuse so they don't have to take on a guy in same weight class. However on the other hand, maybe they wanted to demonstrate effectiveness of the style founded by a woman via a person of a lower weight class i.e. David vs Goliath🤷‍♂️ If I recall correctly they showed the WC school of Kong Chi Keung, one of his students was a HK TVB actor so more publicity etc etc

Jimmy's podcast is here and he states it pretty much the same. At 4mins he says his producer didn't want any of the white guys in shots and at 16mins he talks about Sifu Paul coming for the fight and the producer saying no. Sounds like they really weren't enamoured by Leung Ting to say the least! I must admit I found that episode really very cringe when I saw it. It was a shame the producer had to be such an idiot about fighting only Asians. Would have been a good fight no doubt otherwise
