Wow the music is so poingnant and nostalgic. Nigel was an incredible soldier and his talks are so well researched and detailed that one feels as if one was there yesterday. Thank you for your service and bravery madoda.

I enjoy these episodes where you analyze and disect in depth specific Ops. Can we get more of these?

Superb recital of history from a Plumtree boy ! All his ducks in a row. Brilliant. Proud to have known many of them, albeit a few years after them. Without a doubt the finest little army of its time. Thank you Hannes and co - another great job.

Once again great and interesting episode. Nigel is correct. If possible we need to get the much maligned MID guys if we can

Extensive military information about the "Russian front " , your research & time much appreciated. PS, we all helped the Boks get across the line.

Just like he did in the mid to late 70’s, Sunray speaks with great knowledge and authority. If Maj Henson said the Sky was pink, most guys in the Commando would believe him.

Naive I was indeed, always believing we would win the good fight! Major Henson, Sir, that section about no outcry etc from internatiol press and leaders, and with prior ? agreement and assistance with RSA Govt I do find extremely disturbing for my own mindset. I will sort that out within. With that said, there is no doubt that we as a Nation, despite all of this skulduggery, gave those saboteurs many sleepless nights - long may they suffer their deception. And on a happy note, just watching the start of the Bulls/Cardiff rugby game, in memoriam, The last post and reveille played. Stirring minutes indeed. Great interview; Keep well all.

All Rhodesian and S.A. veterans must know... their military operations were compromised by a single turncoat within Rhodesian government (No, not Ian Smith). This turncoat revealed Rhodesian combat operation details to a "certain banker family on an island in the atlantique nord". True story. Sad to say, but all "our wars" have been "engineered" (and thus had pre-determined outcomes) by this very same "banker family".

Eland 90s wrecked my hearing and the many years since haven't helped at all, so the audio is quite a challenge for me. 👍

Excellent intro, all the photos of different weapons vehicles etc really help us to get a better picture when listening to these awesome talks. Thank you John and Hannes. If I can give a small tip, try to get your guest to align themselves with the light facing them instead of in the background. Webcams struggle to handle the contrast and end up having large cloudy areas. It might not always be possible to do that given limitations of each guests own setup. Hope this is helpful and not offending your good work

Mileage is going to vary but I know members of blue blood SA families. They say that Cyril Ramphosa was picked by N1cky 0p 8nh8imer back in the 80s when he was head of the union of mineworkers and demonstrably weak, clueless and useless. Ramaphosa was cultivated over a long time as a yes man, just as Ju Ju has been more recently. I would name the money behind Ju Ju but, interestingly, the YT algorithm wont even let me post the name. So when Cyril is up there on stage glorying in the achievements of Bokke he hasnt exactly helped previously, then its not just Hannes who finds it all a little difficult to stomach.

No wonder that tribe has been evicted from our Anglo countries over 109 times to date (1,031 times in total all across Earth).
