i thought most rock climbing gyms pretty much had crash mat like flooring to avoid this exact situation from happening

even with crash mats from that height it will still happen if you land like that.

For top rope or lead climbing, the pad is useless. Bouldering has thicker pads at the gyms since you’re meant to jump down.

For the ones I've climbed at, only the bouldering gyms have crash mats. You don't need a crash mat if you have a rope.

Most rock climbing centres have crash mat flooring in the bouldering section (without a harness).
I was really worried for him seeing how bad his ankles were and how bad his memory was.
Ordering an MRI would have been one the first things I ordered!

Yeah, why did they get psych involved straight away...?

@@richardstephens7833 I question why they do a lot of things. I don’t actually watch this program but I enjoy watching all the random, often inaccurate clips.
Ngl, I feel traumatized looking at that happen. I sprain my ankle so often and seeing the doc come out rlly made me squirm 😭
Friend had a similar accident. Thought he was clipped into the „safety“ but wasn’t. Even crash mats can’t safe you especially not If you push of the wall.
best series ever ❣
Hey, Corey! Nice to see him on TV! 😊
I love you'r videos
Oh yk it’s bad when they gave him FENTANYL 😂

Lol no there aren't "two types". Its the same drug and it is often used in medical settings for pain relief and partial sedation

He could have been checking for fibrillation. Probably not what the writers were going for considering most medial dramas use defibrillators when the patient is flat lining, and basically never show depictions of fibrillation.
who on earth are all these people i only know dr charles and im pretty sure thats marcel

Probably from season 8, doctor choi actor left the role
HA, couldn't work out what I was looking at in the beginning, but the title made me think it was some weird dorm-style shower curtain covered in puke.
1:13 God! Same thing happened to me, climbing on the park climbing frame, and my bone could be seen out of my skin when I was 12! 😨😫
A new video! :D

If nobody was on belay why was there no slaxk on his rope??
@LilyGrace95

I was wondering that too. Obviously automatic belays exist, but that very clearly wasn't the system they had there, so he shouldn't have had a taught line... Really weird.
1st/2nd to comment 🎉🎉 Also, antibiotics would’ve helped headaches. Or even going to the doctors for a checkup would help.
That doesn’t sound smart
in b4 they change the title

I know in the US they tend to use -er instead of -re, but is that the case with the word "litre" too? Never seen it spelt differently....
2 pints a day of beer, is not bad at lmao
The bone is sticking out that’s not dislocated
@truebornseeker9767

Dislocated bones can push out against the skin, a family member dislocated their elbow and it was pressing tight against the skin A break usually breaks through the skin because it’s jagged and sharp (just giving information, not coming at you or anything btw)

I've seen dislocated ankles that look very similar to that.
@HMSBreadnought

Dislocated ankles can look like that, since the Talus and Calcaneus(bones of the ankle) are a synovial joint rather than a single piece. If it dislocated and doesn't slip back in that's entirely possible.
