The claim that the Maya where at their highest development from 250 AD to 900 AD is ridiculous. I really can’t understand that any person that calls himself a scientist supports this theory. The history of the indigenous peoples in the Americas is much, much older than a few thousand years. The Hopi people, now living in Arizona, USA, claim that they are at least 30,000 years old and that they are the ancestors of the Maya. Himself is a her. Why would you say this time line is ridiculous? We do not have evidence supporting a older civilization. Not yet anyway. The oldest projectile points in north America are dated to 15,000 years old. The artifacts dated at Mayan sites are similar in age. It was only 500 years ago when the Spanish conquistadors were fighting the Aztecs in Mexico and the Incas in South America. We may find evidence of an older time line in the future but someone's claim is not sufficient evidence..

@@chrisquinn394 I studied the last 10 years on this subject and I found many old books and many pictures that explain the history of our Earth and mankind. Many of them in color.
