Hey guys, here are just a few things I want to mention. The GOT Bannerlord playthrough is still going, but I am putting it on pause, because I am working with a really talented artist who is making the thumbnails. So I am giving him time to catch up to the current episode. Also I am looking for one more game to play, so we can have a three game roataion for the let's plays. Hi PA, I assume your "Let's Plays" rotation does not count the live stream series which is currently Evil Henry (b/c then that would be 3)? Since you have Shogun 2 (turn-based strategy), the Steevin Ironborn Bannerlord mod (strategy RPG?), how about something open world? Witcher 3? Starfield? Red Dead?

Kingdoms and castles again?

Japanese pronunciation is actually simple, a lot of people not familiar overcomplicate it. There are only 5 vowels and one distinct way to sound out each vowel. a=ahh, i=eee, u=ooo, e=ehh, o=ohh. If you remember that, you can pronounce anything because Japanese is basically just all vowels modified by consonants (a, ka, sa, ta, na...). Take for example "katana". All the "a" are said the same cuz theres only one way to say it. So slap in your consonants and you have it: ka-ta-na. So a name like Aizu is sounded out as Ah-Eee-Zoo. Or using some english words sounding the same, Eye-Zoo. So if you remember theres only 5 vowels with no crazy exceptions (like we see a ton in English) then you can pronounce anything easily. Hope this helps

Aizu is an interesting shout. Those traditional units can give some cool play styles. Of course having your Eastern flank up against the ocean can be good for safety as well.

You know in all honesty I’d watch you play anything. I really liked your live streams, I hope it was good for viewers and such. Your narratives and story lines are what keeps me coming back. And when I do catch a live stream it’s always something interesting you’re talking about. Thanks for keeping me sane in the hard times the last few years grinding through school in my late 30s and working full time. Thanks for being an internet friend in the lonely and hard times.

Hey Apollo I know you made a few videos on it 4-5 years ago but have you thought about revisiting Imperator Rome? Recently there's been an attempt to try and revive the game and quite a few Paradox youtubers have been making videos on it this past month or so. If you do decide to play I recommend the amazing "Invictus" mod which greatly improves vanilla and helps balance and add loads of flavor to regions that were not really touched before.

I think when you mix things up like you have been, it's you at your best. I hope you enjoy doing it. I also hope that it helps with getting burnt out on repeating games.

Over the years, I've begun to realise Shogun 2 is the best TW ever made. Great video!

Consider putting troops in guard mode, if you don't want them to pursue.

A few tips, if I may: Send the agent ahead of the way so you'll discover hidden troops in enemy territory. This way you can prepare for an invasion on the enemy. Build as much buildings that make money. More money = bigger army. When you offer millitary alliance, offer trade agreement and millitary access (infinite), so your ally can move into your land in time of need. Sometimes try to bait the enemy to your castle/settlement. If you have enough spears and guns, you can defend pretty easily against an attack and destroy armies. I have more tips, but let's see what happens in the next episode!

Hello apollo idk if your seeing this but can you give a try to kenshi, its an open world rts in post post apocalyptic world, there it doesn't have any limitations of what you can do in the world only your omagination and the engine (because its made in OGRE 3D) and there is a sequel underway on its development, its a hidden gem i think anyone would love it.

What is amazing about Japanese history is how quickly japanese scholars, engineers, metallurgist, smiths, and so on learn nearly 50+ years of western technological advancement within 10 years. Japan did have firearms and muskets for centuries, but it was the US who ended the use of muskets, the more affective cartridge rifles. Best game ever tho, I sunk hundreds of hours into Shogun2, and FotS. I always chose Shimazu clan because of the geography advantage, and unique western connects.

Apollo play the halo games, I know your already experienced with halo but it would be cool to see you replay them.

Go for We Who Are About To Die I’d love to see you play that and I’m sure you could pick up a good amount of views

I come to catch up with the content on your channel, I like the choice of playing a Fall of the Samurai campaign, since due to time constraints I have never been able to play that expansion beyond Avatar Conquest (which, by the way, in the 2020 I was lucky that you published a replay of one of those battles I did in the FOTS); So, it'll be great to see you play this campaign with a Shogunate faction (in the past, I've only seen campaigns of Imperials or factions achieving a Republic). P.S: I would like you to do a Knights of Honor 2, Crusader Kings 3 or Company of Heroes 3 campaign.

Try, Star Wars Empire at war. It is definitely different from what you normally do, but I really think you would like it. If you look into it, check out the different mods for the specific eras that you enjoy. Steam workshop works great.

If you can wait, play Manorlords for the 3rd! Different mechanics from the usual you play, but same theme

don't know if you ever played anno 1800, you should give it a try, it got a little bit of war a little bit of city building and much more.

You should check out a game called Battle Brothers, you run a mercenary company in a low fantasy world. The combat is turn based and its a very enjoyable game.

If you like civil war games "Ultimate General Civil War" was a fun game

Don't always help your ally as if one of their settlements are captured by the enemy you could always reclaim it for your self and own it(Totally not a bad ally)

Shogun is on FX so def appreciate.
