The true hero is the AI, which their father put into their brains without consent, and does all the work. The humans do a 'passable' job of moving the interface chip from planet to planet to facilitate this using an unarmed ship in a potentially hostile galaxy.
This is a good game for the kids. It's so slow I shouldn't put too many of us to sleep!
