Is there even a fight where using SAED is better than using Savage Axe?

The few really good fights for SAED are the monsters where basically every phial is guaranteed to land on a good enough hitzone, for example chameleos is fantastic, velkhana,diablos (usually atleast 3 every time) amatsu, but a lot of these are also situational if a monster is knocked down or laying down can you land every phial on a good hitzone.

Maybe next time i play it, i generally don't like doing "only this attack" because they take an incredibly long time. (dragon piercer only took 45 minutes)
And I thought I was good with finally being able to solo 3 monster anomaly hunts 🥲
