Both are acceptable in almost every UNI and College. I never heard someone git rejected coz he did IELTS instead of PTE or PTE instead Of IELTS. That used to happen a long time ago. So go for whatever you feel easy for you.

You can not choose the same course aa i do , it has to be something relevant to your study background if you choose something irrelevant then there are very high chances that you visa will be rejected.
