You'll notice that our service today is somewhat different. You will hear almost no music. What little music is done acapella. This is in reflection of how close we are coming to the passion of Christ. Lent in never the easiest season of our liturgical calendar, but it is meant as a time of reflection and we often have to strip ourselves down emotionally and mentally to grow the most. And so our service today reflect that sparseness from which we can grow to be so much more.
